if its windows download and burn a copy of erd commander stick it in the cd drive and you can then change the password to what you want, assuming its the windows password you have lost.

The ks i900 seems pretty good my partner has is, no noticeable play compared to the crank bros one I have. So I imagine that’s our best option with a shim. She hasn’t had it long so can’t really comment much on it.

I have wifi only, and I also have 3mifi dondle which is really good and can be used iPad or laptop, you can’t share the ipads Internet to a laptop at the moment, so in my opinion it would be a was of money for me. The miff only costs me 15 quid a month or sum mat like that and is only the size of a small phone.

Agreed, I hardly ever single shift, normally change 2 or 3 at a time. If I had 8 speed I would see no advantage of changing to 9 apart from the parts are easier to get.

not essential, but with your budget i would get an exposure joystick or similar and then spend the rest on bar light.

try other companies, you might get a better deal, there are websites to compare them. sounds a bit much as sky only charged me 60 and they needed to get bt to run a new line and then a sky man to install a dish.

I have the dx light as well as a lupine, and for 5 times the amount the lupine is a rip off, hardly noticable difference. Very pleased with it, if I was going for one light I would get the dx one, warranty is ok, heard of one person having a problem and they replaced it.

Also changing password may have needed a reboot, reconnecting occasionally can help speed it up a bit.

Don't get navara d40. Poor off road, high running costs and bad reliability.

We went with pure mountains. Best holiday I've been on going back in 2011 can't wait. Amazing riding, accommodation, food and drink (which is all inclusive)

another option which is pretty cheap is to get wireless router of any kind and use it as an access point using cat 5 cabling some of the way if you can?

No experience of the diadora, but the shimanos have had really good reviews, a lad I ride with uses them and is really impressed with them.

you could use this but you say no croc clips, maybe get the parts and use this

ok, you also need to know the specifications of the battery you want to use, or, decide how many hours you intend to run it and decide on the battery to get. halfords site, has them on, but you can probably find them cheaper locally.

Can you get an extension cable, cut it off, and unsolder the ones with bad connections and resolder the relevant end, or just do both battery and lamp to be sure.

Second tcx converter. Nearly smashed my laptop up the other day because I thought that was at fault when I couldn't get a course to load to my forerunner, ended up having to do a hard factory reset on the forerunner and it worked, lost all my settings and all the courses off it, stupidly not saved on the computer

Yep got one, it's good only usually wash 2 bikes at a time and usually do that 2 or 3 times and stick it on charge, never run it flat so no idea on ha long it could last.

Garmin stuff is good I use the forerunner 305 but if your not interested in the heart rate the 205 is very good. I just use in on my wrist, but you can buy the mounts for bars

yeh its only good to get you home, but if your not replacing one just keeping a spare i would say its the best option.

    dmetcalfe

if you only want it as a spare just get an emergency one like this, then it can be used on either bike or for anyone your riding with, then just get a new one if you need it

Landrover one looks like an old nokia with a few bolts and land rover badge on it, pretty sure they are expensive.

They are terrible. My mate just cancelled with them in the 30 day period. Because every time his phone rang the Internet disconnected. Tried everything different socket, different filter, cable, computers, router, in the end cancelled went with sky and no problems so far…

Merino baselayer, leg warmers. Goretex sock. Splash proof shorts sometimes. Normal full finger gloves but might look for new gloves this year and a montane superlight.

Never had a problem with ust rims or stains without fluid using a track pump. As stains kit says when inflating ouch thumb on tyre directly above valve. Works a treat.
