Combi’s need to be higher rated to be able to heat the DHW as required, they are pretty much a system boiler combined with an instantaneous water heater, hence the name.A 12kw combi would be a tad slow at heating a bathful of water. The key thing with a combi is domestic hot water flow rate, some are capable of delivering around the same amount of litres per min as a decent cylinder, a wier guage will tell you if you have enough flow to make it a good choice.

Combi boilers have there benefits up to a certain point and then it megaflo time, surely the days of open storage tanks sitting above your head with the capability of bursting and flooding until turned off are numbered?
Combis are perfect in the right situation and crap if you ask them to go past there designed usage, so what are your needs?

Have a look at Click lighting,
fire and acoustic rated versions do not require fire hoods,
nice big terminations so no need for junction boxes,
can wire all connections and then click fit the lamp fitting so no need to have the fitting hanging whilst you wire, all good.
When looking at led lamps you need to check the colour i,e, warm, neutral or cool white, cool usually being brightest/cleanest.
Also beware that anything below 4w will leave you wondering why you bothered. With this type of lighting you most definately “reap what you sow” so take your time choosing and you should be a happy convert, good luck!

I have the 4xrpg fluxient which is a really nice floody kind of ting, I also bought the xml u2 torch for my son which has a nice amount of throw and a much tighter beam, looking at getting another in the shape of the 2014 xml2 single for on my head to compliment the rpg on the bars, loadsa light. The torch was bought on a “give it a go” basis for around £40 and so far so good I have no complaints at all.
