There’s loads of Alexa related stuff at this site, I use IFTTT on my phone but I’m not an Echo owner as yet.

If u have to go with PC World then I’d get the Vostro and add another 4Gb of ram to it.

A Carradice saddlebag would be ideal for this with the SQR seatpost mount, when not in use you just get a small plastic block on the seatpost.
I’d also recommend mudguards and Marathon tyres if your commuting.

I bought one which had no QR skewer & bolts in so returned it.

Annoyingly I’ve just picked up a Flow Smart from Halford and its missing QR and Bolts, back to the store over the weekend I think.

The law is trying to crack down on suppliers of set-top boxes, I can’t imagine that they would try to go after anyone actually doing the streaming.

If they don’t release F-Zero for this then the word “squandered” enters a whole new level of meaning.

Hopefully F-Zero GX might make a reappearance as it’s allegedly powerful enough to run Gamecube games.

I stopped gaming a few years ago after getting an Xbox 360 after owning most of the Nintendo consoles since the SNES, so this has piqued my interest although the price is a bit steep but I guess that’s the Brexit bonus and its only likely to increase once Article 50 is triggered.

The massive benefit to Nintendo is that all their internal development teams are going to be focused on one platform instead of being split across the 3DS and WiiU.

    How do I do this

Open up your user profile in the users profile on the C: drive.
Right click on the Desktop folder and then select properties.
There should be a tab with previous versions.
You can either revert to a previous version or copy the files/folders you need.

I’ve heard good things about I love Acid in that London.
It popped up on my Facebook feed over the weekend with a Nexus 21 ( Altern8 alter ego ) dj set.

After watching last weeks I nearly didn’t bother with this one but I was glad I did, it was much better and a return to form.

Have you tried looking at the previous version of the desktop folder in your user profile?

I saw something on twitter yesterday saying it was a sculpture, it was on Bill Drummonds website a year ago apparently.

How loud is the speaker on the Echo Dot? Is it loud enough to use in a kitchen for listening to Radio 4/5?

The chaource I tried at Christmas was very nice and it got consumed very quickly so it’s the current king of cheese. Manchego or Saint Agur are contenders as well.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll skip the Howies then based on the feedback the Scott All Season look a bargain, what’s the sizing like on the Scott All season bibs? My waist is 32 at the monment ( probably closer to 34 given its just past Xmas ) I’m a Large in Howies stuff and XL in the odd bit of Rapha kit I own.
Edit: The Fit says athletic so I’m guessing probably Large.

I’m currently paying £16 for TV Original bundle HD + Sports & Box sets.
I did have to cancel my subscription and put up with FreeSat for a month to get this deal (75% off)

I moved from Sky to plusnet last month, it went pretty smoothly and would recommend them.

Getting my dad to press the off button on his iPad took 10 minutes, he was convinced there wasn’t one

I cancelled and went through with the cancellation and got offered 75% off and £50 credit after a few weeks. Being without Sky+ was the most annoying part of it.

There’s been a few articles in the Guardian recently which might be worth a read

4536 of 5000 miles done this year so I don’t think there’s much chance of me making that target but I’m still up on last years distance.
Sadly they are mostly commuting and weekend road riding miles.

Is anyone on here lucky enough to be able to watch the 4k HDR test on iplayer?

Sadly it’s only working on Panasonic 4k screens at the moment.

Started watching The Expanse yesterday based on this thread and crammed in 4 episodes, good to know that there is another season on the way.

Will see if Sky offer me anything. Nowt yet but if it’s cheap enough then who knows.

I started getting the calls about 2 weeks after the end of contract.
It would be worth checking when your broadband cancels, they cancelled mine after 2 weeks of putting the cancel request in even though the TV took another 4 weeks or so – this caused no end of grief as it took about 3 weeks to get another connection up and running.

Yeah those are mostly the reasons I cancelled, I only really watched John Oliver, Game of Thrones and the odd Liverpool game on the Sky channels, I didn’t think it was worth paying the money out I was just for that.
The Sky+ recording/live pause is what I’ve missed the most.

I upgraded from an old LG 37″ to 49″ Sony last Christmas, with the smaller bezel on the Sony it wasn’t that much bigger though now I wish I had gone for the 55″ model so my advice is go for the bigger TV.

I’ve driven around Sardinia and it was quite pleasant as the roads were very quiet, from the comments above I’m assuming its not the same on Sicly?
