ripit4me ( and all the other freeware rippers – dvd shrink, dvd decryptor ) haven't been updated for the past few years so it struggles with some of the newer copy protection schemes on dvd's

im using some component cables that i got off ebay, probably paid a tenner for them or something.
I'll have to check what the colours are like in something like Mario Galaxy to see if its the cables causing the colours to look faded.

its a proper channel and is much better quality than using the opera browser to access iplayer ( full screen as well so no noeed to zoom)
the colours seem a bit faded compared to the tv through my sky box but hey its iplayer on my tv for nowt!

to install it just fire up the wii and go to the wii shop channel and download it, its easily done and takes a few minutes.

after doing the antivirus scan try running ccleaner to delete unwanted stuff from the harddrive – temp files and other stuff the operating system creates when its running and then run a defrag programme like MyDefrag[/url] to speed up the disk, if that fail then I'd look at a reinstall of windows

if you can sell the individually try Discogs, you can have a look at any release and see what its gone for in the past to guage whether its worth selling.

if its for a desktop i'd go for ubuntu. i had suse preinstalled on a netbook and had a fair few problems with it.

+1 for plas isa, i've stayed there a few times, its bang in the centre of dolgellau so great for a post ride beer and curry.

if you've built it up from scratch ie installing the motherboard into the case did you put any of the little round insulators between the screws and motherboard?
it could be something is shorting out somewhere.

Tickets for Bloc Weekend were booked this week, now I'm just waiting to see whats on at ATP minehead the week before Pavement ( curated by Aphex Twin would be heaven, its not really gonna happen tho )

i've must have been unlucky to catch derrick may on an off night, saw him play with francois kervorkian a few years ago in london. my mates have seen him play a blinder @ lost.
dj bone is another fine detroit dj as is omar-s if you like it a bit housier.
off to see rolando at the weekend which i'm looking forward to as i've not seen him play since a night out at voodoo in liverpool.

seems a 50/50 split between those that have moved on and done something with their lives and those that still live in some scummy squat and look a right state

i know what you mean as that lifestyle i used to lead when i was younger wasn't sustainable at least if you want to move on with your life.
re hog – theres certainly a lot fewer crusties going there now and its now happening in a trendy-ish pub in kings heath – no more all nighters :D:D how things change.

hog is still going but the nights are not quite as intense as the old days at the dance factory, most of the people going are too old for that now – me included :D

lol, i've been going to house of god for years and never thought of it as a scary place. the music certainly can be full on ( esp with paul damage on the decks :D ) but full of the friendliest people.

the rich and fruity malt loaf is also a winner but i've not had a chance to try the plum loaf as i've not been able to find it as yet.

i've done this one a few times, its got some cracking descents on it.

morgan spice rum is one of the few spirits i can take neat so that would be my choice
