Shame to hear about its current state, I used to love the annual trip with my parents up to Blackpool to go and play the latest arcade games, seeing the sit down version of Space Harrier for the first time was amazing – arcades nowadays are a bit rubbish aren’t they?

Much more excited by this, tbh:
    Classic Mini.

I can’t wait for a SNES version ( mainly for Mario Kart )

I used to be an avid gamer but don’t really have the time but the Switch does look pretty interesting

I cancelled with Sky last week, I used the live chat to arrange a call back as all the live chat agents were busy.

All the streams I’ve tried used for Kodi either don’t work or they stop working after 1/2 an hour.
As Liverpool aren’t in Europe this year it saves me having to faff about trying to find a working stream.

+1 on the Razorpit, they work pretty well.
I’ve only used about 4 Mach 3 blades this year ( Wet shave about 3-4 times a week )

I spotted an ebike that was on the opposite towpath to me this morning though going in the same direction, neither he or I were going particularly fast but he didn’t seem to be pedalling at all – I thought you had to pedal to get the assist from the electric motor?

    Checked out Arcteryx

Their stuff is eye wateringly expensive even compared to Rapha!
It does look very nice though.

Is now an OK time to do lay a bit of turf?

I put some grass seed down a few weeks ago and its now about 2 inches tall so I imagine turf would be fine now.

Re the Carradice – I’ve used a Nelson for the past few years and I’ve never bothered with a drybag, I can only think of 1 or 2 times when the inside has been damp from the rain.
The outside does get a sprayed with some reproofing spray every few months.

I just pop my ironed shirt / trousers on top of my lunch in the Carradice saddlebag they don’t seem to get creased on the way onto work.
The commute distance varies between 6 and 20 miles depending if I take the scenic route homed

I’ll be ditching Sky come November as the offer I got last year has ended so my bills have jumped from £48 to £83 ( going up to £91 next month).
The only things I really watch on Sky are Game of Thrones, john Oliver and Liverpool football games so I’ll be moving to Fibre broadband with Freeview and a NowTV box.

How do the handheld Dyson’s cope with cat hair? ( we have 2 cats – one is a very fluffy Norwegian forest cat )
Currently we use a Dyson upright but had a look at the handheld ones over the weekend.

Assuming you are using the desktop Outlook to view the emails then different profiles in Outlook would give you different settings, however if you need both email accounts open at the same time then this won’t help.

I guess there isn’t an spd version of these is there?
A quick search on Google doesn’t seem to bring anything up which is a shame as they look really nice.

I was looking on the PC World website last week for a new laptop for myself, they are doing some cashback/trade-in offers so might be worth a look on there if you have any to trade in.

This one looks good value – i5 processor, 256 SSD, 8GB ram, WIndows 10 all for £479

If you were on a pre-payment meter ( they were already in the house when we moved in ) and wanted to move to change the meters and move to direct debit who would be good to move to?

4 miles if I take the quickest route via roads, 12 miles this morning taking in a mostly traffic free route via canal towpaths.

Adidas Busenitz are worth a look at, skate shoes that have an old skool look.

I’d really love it if they re-released the Rekord trainers as these are a firm favorite of mine.

I’ve had an SSD fail, it just stopped working and wouldn’t boot.
It sounds unusual that it seems to be working just with no data on there. Have you tried looking at the SMART status of the drive?

It might be worth considering something like a Carradice saddlebag as it gets the weight off your back and stops you getting super sweaty.
Combined with a SQR seatpost mount you just end up with a small plastic block on the seatpost when not in use.
I can get my lunch, bike tools, change of clothes and a 13″ laptop in mine.

I did an overnight bivvy a week and a half ago and walked up via the Pony path. I’ve done the Minffordd path previously and I found the Pony path was a lot easier to do though as the ascent wasn’t as steep.

Picked some up last week at £50 and had the first try out with them on my commute this morning – compared to the Decathlon RR5 I’ve been using for the past year they seem a lot stiffer though definitely they don’t feel as good when walking about off the bike, also harder to engage into the pedals but this is something I’ll probably get used to.

I’ve realised the only thing I really watch on Sky is Game of Thrones so when my contract is up in Nov I’ll move to just fibre and get a NowTv box for Game of Thrones.
I do watch the Liverpool games when they are on Sky Sports but that hasn’t given me much joy recently :(

If you need to cancel everything with Sky for a month to get the better deals you could get a PAYG wifi hotspot to give yourself internet access.

Interestingly I had this reply from Cannondalespares.com

Unfortunately these are not something that we can get. These are not essential to the hub and most people choose to remove these.

Is anyone else running their Lefty hubs without the dust seal? I can’t imagine that this is a good idea given the mud/rain/grime we get in the UK.

I’ve tried the UK ones that popped via a google search – Qwerty and Triton Cycles.
Edit – Also can’t see them listed on http://www.cannondalespares.com/ but will drop them an email to see if they have any.

My bike took a dip in the canal recently, I braked to avoid running over some pigeons and the wet brickwork on the Birmingham canal network combined with marathon tyres caused the front wheel to slide from under me.
Bike ended up in the canal with just the saddle sticking out and me sprawled on the towpath, I managed to get the bike out before it succumbed to the darkness of the canal.

I get to see herons and geese most days on the towpath, one thing that is really good is the smell of the Cadbury’s factory in Bournveille – there’s some days where the air is thick with the smell of chocolate.

Also when geese are flying next to me coming into land on the canal, its only happened a few times but it’s ace when it does.
