Is the a5 connecting to the router? Look in the router config pages you should be able to see a list of connected devices, is it there?

Is dhcp enabled on the a5 if it isn’t then it won’t be getting an ip address of the router. Is the A5 connecting to the router

Not familiar with your setup but dhcp would need to be enabled on Ae and the A5
If I where to hazard a guess I would say the A5 is not being assigned an ip address. Is dhcp enabled?

Had similar problems running chrome on android OS, since switching to Firefox with ABP the issue has gone away.

Sound ****, even with no fluid you would still expect the lever to return to full extension.

780s don’t come with covers you have to buy them separately. I got mine from rose bikes after dropping them an email, couldn’t get them in the uk at the time.

Northwind, I think they where double specific but they came fitted with 22-34 or 32 rings to allow for clearance.

I’ve been running a triple 10 speed XT converted to double and bash with 36-24 rings on my 2011 five for the last two years, no issues to report.

Was going to say mobymemory they’ve got some 32 gig sandisk class 10 cards for £15.00 or 8.50 for 16 gig

Im pretty sure it will wear the frame out eventually if I leave it like it is.

    It will!

My brother has a Marin that this has happenned to.

The top hats have worn the frame to the point they can no longer be tightened up properly, even with new bushes and top hats there is permanent play, he now needs slightly wider than standard bushes.

I’d fit a Fox low friction kit, I don’t think they can sieze the way alloy ones can.

I think 3 way is about as good as it gets.

Fox 36RC2s have high and low speed compression and low speed rebound, not come across anything with high and low speed rebound.

Maxxis make great tyres but they need the EXO protection.

I used generic motorbike 10 wt for ages. Only recently did i find that not all oils are equal. Some are better for damping some better for lubrication.

    You read this then?

Viscosity chart at the bottom of the page is worth a look.

Many of Rabs 2014 products use hydophobic down.

In that case (from memory) the new Pike is either 528 or 530mm @ 150mm.

    Cheers, just after the measurements!

I’m looking for something shorter than the 150mm 36s (537mm) currently fitted to my five.

Nice idea, except if I do that I will end up having to keep/pay for the forks. Like I said in the original post, that is the easy option, but as a matter of principle I am planning on sending them back on Monday.

It’s my understanding that keeping hold of the goods for any longer than is necessary could be deemed as accepting the goods, send them bask as soon as!

Stans Crest wheelsets carry a recommended max rider weight of 190lb, if your close to or above this you may want to consider Arches or do what Kelvin above suggests.

Certainly looks like it would do the job, can’t say I’ve ever seen a double specific bash before.

Having said that Hope do state

Our new aluminium bash ring takes the place of the large chain ring on single or double ring set-ups

so I could be wrong!

    dirtydog

No, you would need a triple and then use the bash to replace the outer ring.

Just the two CPUs, it sounds like someone has gone mad with the thermal paste.

Just use a pea sized amount(approx depends on size of CPU) on each chip and replace heatsink, the heatsink will spread it out.

Look at Perthmtb s post ^, there’s a picture with the seal fitted in the correct orientation(should be wide side up). The air pressure opens the seal up when inserted this way.

I think I was in Anglesey that weekend, come to think of it I haven’t been up the Llanberis path at all this year, so no, definately not me.

Just checked and it was none of my mates either. Do you want names, that way you can rule them out?

The issues been known about since they first appeared, people just chose not to believe it, see Chunkys post.

£68 or £84 depending on year

It’s a straight forward job and gives a bit more mid/end stroke support.

    Full sus?

Check your gear outers are long enough as they can go slack when the suspension compresses.

Also check the outers aren’t cable tied too tightly to frame.

I’ve done this conversion on a set of 36 Talas and I don’t remember an aluminium washer, according to Mojo the kit contains

    airshaft x1 – Float Topcap x1 – Negative Plate x1 – Base Nut x1 – Crush Washers x2

No mention of an aluminium washer :? .

No mate, I’m running triple M770 10 speed cranks with the M785 double specific mech, 24 – 36 rings and bash. The 36t is a 9 speed SLX middle ring and it works fine with my 10 speed setup.

I’m not sure what the issue with your crank is, Mboy?

I swapped out a 32t Shimano XT FCM770-10 speed ring for a 36t SLX 9 speed and noticed no change in shifting performance.

You can always drop the front mech a mm or two if it’s a problem, I’m currently running a M785 2×10 with 24 -36 rings.
