My Spoon was very stiff to start with but seems to have softened up with use (more hammock like), maybe a bit of perseverance is required. Also tried a Flux which seems softer from the outset.

Ridiculing isn’t nice, however, when you actually believe Muhammad flew to heaven on a winged horse and split the moon in two, Jesus was born of a virgin, the resurrection etc. they’re almost inviting it. They’re brainwashed, it’s not like they’re open to a reasoned debate, reason goes out the window here.

The likes of Wendy Wright deserve to be ridiculed, how do you have a reasoned discussion with a nutter like her (Google her).

    +1 Mikewsmith

The world will be a much better when we stop brainwashing our kids.

There really should be a law against teaching shit like that to kids like it’s fact, it’s disgraceful, it’s child abuse.

If that’s not a good enough reason for speaking out against religion I don’t know what is.

The quicker religious indoctrination of children is be made illegal, the better, it’s child abuse, deluded the lot of them.

If you like very little lever travel (I do) then file down the little yellow spacer block by a mm or so.

You can do the same without overfilling by removing wheel and pulling lever and advancing the pistons.

Both methods temporary though until pads wear.

Citroen mineral oil and Shimano are just different coloured, same stuff

    Link?

    According to Shimano

Shimano has never approved a third party brake fluid to be compatible with our brakes and we never will.

Let’s work on the assumption that the ‘kill switch’ vulnerability has now been disabled so this could be an interesting week.

Several reports on Twitter of version 2 with the kill switch removed already in circulation.

Typical symptoms of air in system.

    No indication that they’re broke.

And no, they don’t all do that

Saw the thread title and thought “Dolby”

I always think “dobly” (spinal tap reference (also shows age))

I sent them to TF Tuned and they inspected them and found a chip in the air shaft (which I didn’t find)…

I reckon its a fair assumption the + was leaking air out/or into the -, cant think of any other way they would suck down apart from vacuum in lowers.

Cable tie under the seal untl you hear a psssst sound.

You’ve got the extra negative spring thing going on.

Doubt it as it was fine for the first 5 minutes, if either the + or – were leaking into the lowers that would create pressure not vaccum.

Apparently this has now been fixed, the offending software has been removed.

Major oversight on Googles part when a third party developer is allowed to call their app Google docs.

    Checked mine last night

    You need to go

    https://myaccount.google.com/intro/security?target=permissions#connectedapps

And remove permission (if it’s there) for Google docs, if it’s not listed you won’t have been affected

    Multimat, UK company

    http://www.multimat.uk.com/store/products/superlite-air

Superlite is available on eBay from 40.00 dependent on colour, I managed to pick up a slightly overweight version (as such failed quality inspection) for £25 on ebay last year

If they’re less than two years old send them back.

Doesnt sound like the typical vacuum in the lowers (mostly caused by MBRs youtube vid) as they were fine for the first five minutes.

Sound like an in balance between + and – chambers, if there’s more pressure in the negative than positive they will be sucked down, if transfer port clear then + chamber loosing air?

New Deore / SLX / XT = narrow track

Old Deore and below = wide track

    Road discs = ??

I’ll just add the new “narrow track” calipers are not really suitable for the likes of ashima airotor/kcnc razor type rotors (like that one up there^). There’s barely any contact with the vey inner track and the pad which causes uneven pad and disk wear, and as demonstrated in another thread, disc failure!

It’s an experience and you can’t beat an outdoor circuit for that type of experience and who knows were it will lead.

The kids start racing at national level at age 8, 11 is pretty old in racing, but yeah, suppose indoor would be okish if he’s not been before

Rye house, Birmingham wheels,Three Sisters, depends were you live.

The above are proper national level outdoor circuits, wouldn’t bother with indoor.

I’betting the caliper bolts have been over tightened at some point leaving indents in the caliper into which the bolts relocate themselves and cause the caliper to move as you tighten it up.

Sounds like disk was warped as well.

3×8 on pub bike, 3×9 on XC, 2×10 on FS and 3×9 on commuter and not a single issue with front mechs…weird.

Super tacky for general trail use will be hard work, used to run a 2.35 on the front and it didn’t roll to well but was confidence inspiring in corners and wet/and or cold conditions, best kept for gravity assist IMO.

Not quite, 2009 (same year as mine) will require the addition or removal of a spacer (remove to lengthen, add to shorten) and I’m pretty sure you will need to remove the lowers to get at the circlip that holds everything together. Have only ever done it by removing lowers, however it still might be possible to do it the way your saying, I’ve never tried. If they were mine I’d just remove the lowers and do a lower service at the same time. It’s a large internal type circlip you will need to remove and you need to push the backplate in order to release it.

I haven’t got one but if I did I would not feel the need to justify my purchase to anyone.

Really don’t know who some people think they are, suggesting you have to have some medical condition before they’re deemed acceptable, makes me want to buy one out of spite.

They may be fun but its not cycling its like giving in when you get a bit old and slow and need a mobility scooter .Some people wont because they have pride buying an ebike is the same

You know that could come across as mobility scooter drivers have no pride and have given in.

Because no need to buy a new derailleur to go from 10 to 11 speed.

Shifting will be compromised, Radr or not.

Don’t know, why would you, 11 speed mech is suitable for cassettes up to 46t?
