I’m around from the 2nd August with the family, missus and twin girls who are 7, who are very friendly and happy to play with other kids.

I’m taking a capra out this year and I’d love to ride with others as I rode alone last year and it’s OK but you have to ride Conservatively in case of a stack.
I’ve been riding over 20yrs and live in south wales so I’m not too shabby
Email in profile and I’ll bookmark this thread.
Hopefully see some of you soon

just take wires off capacitor with gloves/pliers or discharge it by shorting it before changing it with mains power off obviously, can give you a bit of a nip otherwise.

if your remotely electrically competent you could go to a climate centre part of the wolsley group, and ask for a replacement electrics pack for a danfoss fr8.5g which would be a like for like swap

I should be quite lucky as I should be able to keep bike in a plant room
And there’s a fully equipped workshop for the maintenance section.
And obviously showers etc, I’m going to have to get used to getting up earlier as IL be doing 6-2 or 10-6 with some flexibility apparently

I’m a perfect example then, 42yrs old and had a heart attack whilst @ bike park Wales, critical illness insurance on my mortgage paid out 114k
Which made things a lot easier especially when I had been made redundant 2 weeks prior to the heart attack, handed control of the money over to my wife, as I’d of just spunked it up on gucci plastic bikes

I still have the scars from a previous argument with a tree whilst in les deux alpes, hence my hankering for cover

Went with snowcard in the end as they bothered to ring me after I mailed them, few exemptions about my ticker but covered if I have a fight with a tree in Morzine etc

It is classed as a life affecting condition I think so paid out in full, we were with LV insurance took about 8wks to receive payout, I’m only 42 never smoked. My wilderness years ended a while ago, I’ve got 3x stents fitted and on meds for the rest of my days
