I’d prefer to repair the ceiling rather than interfering with structural subfloor.
Or, long fishing drill bits are available that you can use.

Suggestion of an improved grip2 for 2020.
Aside from that, basic model year clearance pricing structure applies.

The most useful smart device we have the the Roku premiere plus. Last gen with Ethernet so we don’t have to wirelessly watch.
Not sure why they’ve gone to wireless only.

I failed the entry exams to our citys private school (3 times thank goodness), at which my sister was a pupil at the girls school.
I happily remained at free school.
Unlike my expensively educated sister, I can appreciate that other people are allowed an opinion and I can see things from both sides and don’t argue a point to death to the point where it’s just f’ing ignorant.
She’s a better and more successful professional, but, I’m infinitely happier with my version of life. I believe that’s almost entirely the schooling difference.

Any touching up with a brush will look obvious as the finish is quite different

This is why it’s worth back rolling. You can then touch up as you like. For walls/ceiling consider the sprayer literally is just a way of delivering high quantities of paint on the wall rather than repeated dipping in your tray.
That said, it’s easy to overload a wall with an airless sprayer, you’ll use more material but back rolling let’s you essentially QC your paint application.

You’re going to have to back roll anyway so unless you’re pulling out all the carpets just get yourself an 18″ roller setup and crack on.
Empty rooms will happen quickly if you’re organised and move room to room as coats of paint dry.

Lift and drop the bike a couple of times to ‘shake’ the water off, wipe the top tube, down tube, chainstays, lowers, run the chain through a rag and lube.
    Done.

Genius then if you loved it… hmx Tuned bike with even lighter wheelset and it’ll munch the connecting road miles just as well as a trail ready Spark and still be sh’ready for BPW etc

I have both, genius is my first choice for all but ‘race day’

I’ll go on the ‘parents’ theme:
Yep, wife and I decided we were better off as a family unit with her not returning to work after #2 mat leave finished.
Paying just less than her take home income for daycare to raise our kids missed the point.
Together we agreed that we would be prepared to put ourselves into the red over the next 5 years to raise our family.
She’s back to work now in a better role that still allows her to drop and collect the kids from school and enables me to take contracts when they come up. That ultimately makes up any perceived ‘short fall’ in her current 20hr working week income.
After her swapping salary for being a full time mum she became more motivated to get back into paid employment.. prefers this job and it also brings extended health which is invaluable.

Salomon and atomik went down the foam core route for a while with some of their skis. Realised the error of their ways when it was evident they didn’t last very long.

The infrastructure for moving Hydrogen around is much easier

    Can you clarify that?
Surely the electrical network is one of the simplest ways of moving energy (aside from the sun)

    Cheap Chinese tile?
Cupped meaning you’ll not get a decent install without lippage if you install brick.
Put them face to face, you’ll see they’re not flat.

Bill splitters tend to be the ones that start ordering bottles of wine.
A good friend is very astute to this and when out with him he’s ready to point out if there needs to be a split correction done for those not drinking etc. He’s still the one ordering the wine though and will typically pony up extra for his indulgence.
Bill splitting invariably taints the night for someone. Avoid.
Fortunately with multi person meals, modern pos systems allow split billing. Decent servers can figure out dynamics too.

Probably because 30cm is beyond the height of a single step and they want to have the opportunity to inspect your plans and build out to make sure that you have suitable guard rails in place to stop you falling to your death.

But yes, not having to get permission for a permanent structure is odd. Who makes sure that you are building something safe?

Not trying to play devils advocate.. presumably this isn’t an actual puppy but the 3 year old dog that has a penchant for eating tables?
I totally get the ‘new parent panic’, but once you’ve had one kid and realise their not actually all that fragile, #2 tends to get positively neglected in comparison.
In the forest around us, THC laced human poop is the new doggy toxic risk.
Good that he’s home, hopefully no psychological issues/separation anxiety as a result.

I’d have thought the treatment would be more risk to the puppys well being (mentally and physically) than a small amount of malt bread.

My 13yo dog has snatched plenty of bad foods, Choc, rasins, grapes, onions included. Friends pointer had a habit of jumping up on the kitchen counter and eating the butter out the dish, whole cooked chickens, lbs of chocolate. Riddled with cancer now but still walked daily, pees and poops happily at 14.

I’d honestly suggest a new vet might be a wise choice.
I can’t see how that treatment was in the best interest of the puppy.

amazing, just think how many tiny changes they needed to produce in those hand painted figures to get that stop motion done!
Zero interest in the actual game, but would totally watch a mini series based on those vids!

Keyhole for me with vas fished out, stripped back, cauterised and sutured. Presumably/hopefully to retain the blood sperm barrier?
Told no need to shave but I did drive there with a hot wheat bag in my lap on a cold day to keep the fruit low hanging and some semblance of self respect.
Worst parts were the feeling of getting kicked in the nuts with the numbing to the vas..or the pulling of the vas… not sure which as I didn’t look, closed my eyes tried not to imagine the process, got very sweaty and light headed during the procedure and once finished doc said to give it a bit before trying to walk down the hall.
    Clearly I looked a bit unwell. .

Avoided any ‘relief’ for 7 days, hanky panky for 14.
While googling how long to wait before checking on what the sperm free result was I ended up reading about dementia/vasectomy correlation studies from the 80/90s due to sperm antigens in the blood crossing the blood brain barrier once the ‘white picket fence’ defence is broken…really could’ve done without reading that…or read it before and I might have changed my mind.

On the bike again after a week.
Haven’t been ‘counted yet’ but aside from the odd ache then no different.

Probably won’t do it again though ;)

Is ‘reasonably competent’ enough of a skill set to take kids into zones where airbags are justified?
Are you the one who’s being relied on to find your burried family or are wife and kids equally equipped to dig you out on their own whilst everyone else is under?

Bosch for me too but if I were working with other carpenters/trades then Makita sees to be the flavor over here.
Either way, brushless is the most important performance factor as opposed to which big brand

I agree with the slick finish of a well butted tile to carpet install but this works best with quality modern porcelain/ rectified tile and low pile carpet in a house that sees no foot traffic. But looks rubbish (dated) imo between more ‘classic’ tile material and higher pile carpet.
Trouble is having nothing as an edge means you’ve no protection from tile edge damage or lifts/pulls/frays. And going from no protection to having to screw on an afterthought transition would be frustrating as heck once your butted install ages.
There’s probably 20 finish colours of schluter and you can disguise it or make a feature of it. I’d personally take the protection aspect everytime.

Sony Don’t don’t seem to have an option to set up ir blaster operation unless going full av receiver control and sticking repeaters on devices.

He’s been away for a few weeks travelling in the US so perhaps compromised credentials in unsecured wifi use?

Report with footage anyway. Presumably all the police movies suggest they will be able to sharpen everything and get his face reflected in his door mirror and identify him from dental records.
That or look for anpr from the local road cams if they deem it bad enough?

Don’t let your trade or plumber go out and choose you a bath. Spec the fixtures and fittings yourself.
Been on too many jobs where the plumber or GC has chosen the ‘screwfix special’ bath etc and they’re absolute garbage and double the money would’ve got something 10x the quality .

I’d spend the money where it matters …hang on, in my book that’s on everything :/

the wee fella is 10 , how can you tell a wee lad not to ‘go big’

I’m with Tom on this.. at 10 he should be able to manage his own risk.. if he isn’t then its absolutely expected that a parent steps in to keep them in check.
See also Jackson Goldstone, Crosby Zimmerman, Harry Schofield for your own interpretation if these are good or bad examples and parentaly managed instabanger accounts.

But yes, goodwill on an injured kid would be expected but also are you talking about just one deferral or the kid, his dad, his mates and his mates dads all looking for a free pass and a zero revenue day for the park??

I’d hope he didn’t use tile adhesive (mastic) as it’s not suitable for wet environments.
Hes more likely used poly/urethane construction adhesive.
You’ll need to use mineral spirits or similar to soften and mechanically remove. But it’s probably just a glaze of adhesive where he’s wiped up a spill.
But, scrubbing it out will locally clean the tile, so he’ll probably need to chemical clean and power wash the rest of the patio as well or he’ll be asking how to get rid of the clean spot he’s created

I tend not to respond to “will you ship’ messages on ‘local pickup only’ items, and almost never repsond to members with no seller history, comments or pictures.
I never respond to PS4 trades or lowballs.
However, you seem to be asking the right and genuine questions, I’d go out of my way to correspond you you as a genuine buyer.

Seems to me like hes given a price and asked for 5 days allowance for the tile.

If the homeowner is “preparing” the space, I’d be adding time and budget right there.
