The fact is, if you’re shit and slow, you’ll remain shit and slow regardless of the size of you’re wheels. The End.

    Jesus that looks grim.

I stay well away from lorries and such like when i’m in the car let alone on a bicycle.

It’s a shame that so many cyclists are oblivious to the danger they pose.

Good luck with finding a 2014 “enduro” bike with 26″ wheels

I cant tell you how much of a relief it is to know that my taste is pretty much the polar opposite of the stw massive. Phewwww

I think he’s pretty short and riding a large frame. It’s definitely 26″.

26″ too as was graves’ bike which took second in the EWS. I won’t be downgrading to bigger wheels next year 😉

Yeah i never got round to getting over there.. Last i heard was they were struggling with red tape when trying to organise race dates? Shame.. Looks like an interesting course.

The jealousy argument is bit of a kop out I think. The fact is most RR’s are a bit garish and a hefty portion of the most category are completely gaudy. All just my opinion though.

Ive got a large Ns surge you can have for £35 if youre willing to collect from manc.

Julian has it right, the HD doesnt deserve a set of noodles on the front. Its a really sturdy frame. Get an SL and a triple if its just mincing about you’re doing.

I run a 36, anything less substantial than that would be a bit pointless imo.

Nope. Did a loop this morning. It was packed.

£45 is a really fair price imo. When you take into account what the organiser has to do to log a time for each rider on three separate courses all in one day in the way that the naked racing guys do it you really can’t argue with it.

24hr rides are for barm pots. I run a 1second sampling rate and play techno as loud as it’ll go on the headphones for 3-4hrs MAX.

Shoot me down if i’m wrong but isn’t this essentially a hand built frame?

No better illustration of that than Danny Hart’s run at Hafjell on Sunday. He ran a mud spike on the rear, and a dry tyre on the front, because he rides more on the back of the bike.
People get very different things from tyres, depending on how they ride and how they set their bikes up.

That’s class!! Just shows you ey?

The same tyre that got the name the Nevagrip? Really?

Hmmm maybe i was wrong to base my judgement on first hand experience and instead I should have believed the hype surrounding an almost funny pun.

Nevegals are actually a really decent tire. One of the DMR riders runs them pretty much exclusively with sometimes stunning results. He lent me a set for a race run not too long ago and i began to believe 🙂
