It was very similar to the first fight imo jamie, anderson was just starting to let em fly. I still think he could beat weidman, yeah he gets roughed up early but we’ve seen how resilient and crafty he can be in the fist sonnen fight. There’s no doubt about it, it’s a brutal sport and some fights are unpleasant to watch but you can’t deny the athletes that it has produced.

People do what they will do, trying to knock someone out is as senseless as risking life and limb on a motorycle racing round the iom.

In fairness Herb Dean is one of the very best. He gave anderson one or two seconds (literally) to recover in the first fight. It was a textbook stoppage imho.

One of the most annoying things about the fight is the imagery that it leaves behind. It’s not how anderson will be remembered though.
