As said, these modern 140/160 trail bikes are really versatile.

My mate uses that rubber band mount for DH all the time. I doubt you’ll have any problems with it. Seems flawless tbf.

are you sure youre not confusing the hi/lo compression for preload? Like ribena said, there is no preload adjusment dial. Youve got hi/lo and rebound dials. Preload is set with air.

Once upon a time i jumped a couple of sets of red lights in succession with a police van closely following me from behind. I was late as usual and giving it the clappers, the lads in the van seemed not to disapprove at all.

You never see any racers really opt for a mini DH bike though do you. It’s DH bike or trail bike.

If it doesn’t warrant a set of triple clamps, a good trail bike will more often than not be the weapon of choice.

Thirded, Mini DH bikes are pretty pointless when you look at the new breed of trail bikes.
