Add handbags to the list and I’d be a winner.

Been about 80°f here in Paris but I’ve been sweating my arse off working all day so you lot who’ve been biking are the lucky ones.

Blimey, its not looking all that promising for BG then.
Plan B and a gas safe registered plumber it is then.

Watched the first episode of ‘Top Coppers’ on catch up last night, and laughed my head off!
Hope the rest of the series is as good.

Can I have Eloise by The Damned?
Not heavy metal but never mind.

A couple of hundred quid sounds good to me.
Do I just go for the cheapest one, or are there any real nightmare companies out there,?

Half the fun of surfing is trying to read the waves and you’ll never beat the relaxation of sitting on your board at sea waiting for the next set to roll in. It all seems a bit clinical to me, but I suppose I enjoy BPW as much as all the natural trails we ride, so horses for courses.
£80 seems a bit steep though. I’m staying at Croyde for four days for less than that.

Can I have ‘That Petrol Emotion’ and ‘The Housemartins’ too?

    PWEI – ACE
    Senseless Things – Also ACE.
EMF – Not ‘Unbelievable’ but everything else they’ve done. First two albums are amazing. Saw them supporting Carter and they blew the roof off. Just like they’d never been away.

That Intense Tracer looks the absolute nuts.
Mind you, for £9k it bloody well should.
Will cross that off my list then.

Wouldn’t the Process 167 fit the bill better?

As above, but maybe use an offcut of wet sponge to cool the tip? Thick porcelain will probably take an age with a cheapo bit.

    Massive tree down on Caffall.
Looks like a bomb has exploded inside it.
Just drag your bike down the slope to the left and pick it up there.

Wife likes it and she’s a proper old school Duran fan.
Very different, but good luck to them.

What a shame. Last week I gave away three really decent carbon rods and various tackle that I would have loved to send you for the grand total of naff all.

    A little bit, yes.
Over time the moisture will soak into the plasterboard and soften the adheshive causing the tiles to loosen and (maybe) fall off.
Or….you might be lucky and have no problems at all.
If the plasterboard was green it’s moisture resistant which might be marginally better?

I totally agree that backer board or tanked moisture resistant plasterboard is the right move for the shower.
I also agree with Blazin-saddles that to use it for the whole bathroom is unnecessary.

Another problem with American classic is the spring pick up in the freehub. It’s just one spring with a flattened end which over time, wears out. Spring cost, probably 5p…except you can’t buy one, so it’s £50 for a new freehub.
I’ve now had to replace two.

We need an electric one because my good lady wife informed me that if she had to get a pole and manually operate it, she’d never use it. Nice to hear someone saying something positive about them though.
    I’m tempted.

My wife hated Skoda’s but I bought myself an Octavia VRS anyway.
After a drive in it, she now likes them a lot.

I did put the 2cc’s in the air can and lubed it all up.
Maybe it is something that needs looking at in a full service? It’s driving me slightly crazy now.

Not sure everyone has the manners we do.
By the looks and comments we get from other bridleway users you’d think we all rode flaming Harleys and had 666 tattoos on our foreheads.
A cheerful hello seems to catch them out though.
Will carry on giving way and smiling at everyone however miserable they seem to be.

    Not arguing the fact.
    We give way to everyone.
Just wondered if it was technically correct as the law stands?

I tiled our whole shower in honed and filled travertine, and its been good as gold.
Sealed with Lithofin which does a good job.
Mind you, I would only have done it with honed and filled so you don’t get the holes.
Tiled a shower with the tumbled travertine and all you do is seal the tiles first, then grout the entire face of the tiles which does fill the pitted areas.
Then seal again with at least two coats.

Tell me it’ll all be worth it in the long run?

We had thought about the plastic plate idea, but I’ll draw the line at plastic cutlery.
We will try and leave the sink for as long as possible.
I’d thought about getting a baby bath that fits over the bath to wash up in, or is that just stupid?
As far as a washing machine goes, has anyone just stuck it in their shed and ran it off the hosepipe?
