Wrong time of year to bag the big ones mate, early Feb they will start ground feeding again.

This time of year the water temperature is dropping so it changes the way they use and store food.

I just have to look at the 18 x 18 x 10 ft pond full of koi in the back garden to see how they feed and behave. They have shown me lots on how they they feed in winter.

Which PS3 would people suggest that you get.

    Original or slim?

Is it right you can't play old PS2 games on the slim version?

Are they not ball bearings? Have you taken them out cleaned them and checked they are smooth and not rough?

Looks like the newish track on the back of the DH section.

Was this clear as the forestry guys had been heavily cutting in there all week.

IHN, do you have a GPS map of your ride?

Not riding the shrine as it will get killed, nor Cranham corner.

The big drop on the wall is also cutting up. Not good, so will be on the road for a bit now me thinks

It is turing into a real bog fest up there. Thanks to Jim for showing me round a host of new trails which we bloody hard work.

Didn't venture past the wall in the end so not sure how the rest of the woods are holding up, but it keeps your legs fit.

Going up there in a bit with a mate. Hopefully there will be no fog tonight as Monday was really bad.

That was what I was worried about. Especially due to the Fox warrenty.

Guys and gals, the trails are starting to tear up and are bloody slippy so watch out. Founds loads of branches over the trails tonight.

Also the tree felling has been happening this weekend behind Popes wood between Portway and the Royal William. The new trail that leads you down from the top of the DH jumps to the briddle track on the main road is blocked everywhere so avoid it.

Looks like mountain kings are the prefered all rounder and speed kings for race with the edge for the mud.

Will get him to order these and a set of each for me.

    Verticals are £5.25 😉

I use two MTE SSC P7 torches and they are 900 lumen total for the two.
One on the bars and one on the helmet and they are great. Have the bar mount on full and helmet on medium most of the time unless I am unleashing it downhill.

I only use these glasses. Bought 10 pairs 2 years ago and only used 2 pairs so far as I fell on my face and snapped the first pair but rescued the lenses.

Simple solution, get some parcel string, thread it through, tie a knot big enough to require a bit of pulling and then pull it through the tube.

    Repeat until clear. £1 simples!

Don't think you can get a 3.7v AA battery sadly as all the P7 torches need that voltage.

Dan, it is really good fun.

    Everyone has to learn somewhere.

First time I went I had 16 year olds helping me and a mate out with lines and routes down the track.

Trails are rumoured to be set back in the upper woods.

I have 2 of these. One on the bars and one on the helmet.

Run times work out better if you keep it on the medium setting unless you are hammering down hill when full power works well.

Ideal for 2 hour rides in the evenings.

The rain over the last 24 hours has added to the fun.

Was up there yesterday evening and it was heavy going. There are lots of branches scattered everywhere mainly after the windy Sunday.

The leaves make you concentrate more but just take care as they cover some of the rocky sections.
