Clear but very wet tonight. Hello to all the Bigfoot riders. Me and Darren said hi at the bottom of the shrine. I was in the Orange jacket.

Need to do some investigation of the forest once it dries out I think.

lookmanohands, you on about the car park between the saw mill and the new house?

I take it that all of this is to the left of the scout camp?

Never ventured that deep into the forest. I assume you can get to it from behind the saw mill then eventually?

    So where is this then?

There is a video of Teachers to Sheepcoombe.

Yeah on the corner where the new house is. But the video link above diesn’t look like that run. It’s miles longer and ends up near a stream.

Also, hi to everyone I saw up the woods tonight.

Guys, the Teachers to Sheepscoombe looks brilliant. Does anyone have a start point fort this on the map please? As I have never seen that trail with a stream before.

It’s the circular route at the top of the shrine with bomb holes apparently.

Tang, was it you I saw on the beacon? The poster is at the top of the Shrine trail just before you turn right to climb back up to go towards the mound and One Who Waits.

Just got in from riding Cranham and its all clear.

Whoever posted the Jim Bowen signs goes down in my book as a local legend.

Is there only one poster as that is all I could see. Made a very muddy, slow lap a very funny one on the way back to Painswick.

Also, hello to the two guys I passed making there way up the side of the beacon.

They have been more active this year then ever. Especially oposite the saw mill in the slightly boggy area just past the gate.

Have picked a few up and moved them. Had to move 2 on Wednesday.

I have to say that the brakes are squeeking a bit.

Hiya, what was the lap distance this year?

    Dimmadan

Jeremy, they have been bedded in correctly but recent trips to Afan and Cwmcarn (both venues known for it’s dust and high brake usage) has ripped them to pieces.

McLaren got thier design wrong. It is not giving enough down force and the car has no grip. Lewis is driving the car has hard as he can.

I find the Avid ones are expensive and dont last more than 2 3 hour rides.

Guys, when you have ridden the top part of the the Shrine from the road at the top and followed it all the way until you have to climb back up to the flat before the mound, where is the left turn to go down to One Who Waits? I can’t seem to find it?

Is this some sort of promotion? If so for what? Why is two weeks a problem?

He still had a chance to close it out. But yes, Englad took ages to fire up!

MBR suits my type of riding, long, hard and high. Like the reviews but hate how they all give Specialized bikes so much praise.
And agree with the snobs comments.

MBUK have blown so much smoke up Steve Peats arse I am surprised we cant see him from where we sit. I would be surprised if he doesn’t own shares in them. Plus, they are the Max Power of the bike world.
(How many pages have they dedicated to bikeradar live)?

WMB is just another branded copy of MBUK with the same old rubbish with a different splash of colour and writters. I hate the way they swap reviews with MBUK so one month you get the same stuff as th previous month MBUK. They have gone from a review mag that was actually very good to rubbish.

    Dirt is not for me.

STW, i ahve read a few copies but it has not grabbed me yet.

    And im 28.

If you have a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXWYK2JzU_w&feature=PlayList&p=1A0373DC17489F55&index=0&playnext=1 and the other 2 videos, this will give you an idea.

They dont want to release details of the track and keep it a surprise until you ride it on the friday/saturday.

Hiya, where does teachers start? And is race track the blue bell wood at the top before the climb to the wall?

Also, the EX8 got in the top 12 bikes of the year for the second year. So it must be good.

The 2008 EX8’s were the ones with the problems, the new 2009 has a slightly larger rear weld that means no more snaps.

I have an EX8 and have ridden Afan (Wall, Whites and Skyline) also Cwmcarn and lots of local riding. It is amazing.

It’s light (18.5″ with pedals 28.2lbs), when locked out feels like a hard tail, when unlocked it corners well, jumps well, and you can ride it all day with no problems.

What are the costs on them?

    DONT DO IT!
The grow back itching is really not worth it.

I would suggest a groin wax/ bikini line but nothing else.

You sit on your arse at work for 8 hours a day and the 5 days after you shave it is hell!

I know as I did it and it was the stupidest thing I have ever done!

Trail was really clean tonight (Apart from a badger cub in the middle of the track near the top of the bluebell wood.

Didn’t stop to see if I could find anymore roof tacks but the course is drying out really nicely and is rolling really quick. Beat my best time round it by 1 1/2 minutes.

I was surprised to not see anyone else.

Does anyone have a list of the section names so I can give you guys more area specific details whan I find problems?

Colin, I would bring the one you feel happiest riding in all conditions.
    And also the quickest 😆

Not really, the only one I have found works well was the Totteham one from 2003/2004 (dark blue one) as it was lycra based and wicked really well. Aren’t most shirt polyester?
