Just be patient with the bleeding and dont forget to squeeze the syringe while pumping the lever to make sure all the air is out.

Sounds like a crap build up round the pistons behind the pads.

Simply remove the pads, ptfe lube the piston while it is in its current location and leave for 2 minutes. Grab a cotton bud or 6 and then give the outer piston a quick clean. Then pump the brake lever slowly to reveal more of the piston. Allow it to move out 5mm each side and then add more ptfe lube and re clean. Then grab a few business cards and slide them in the gap and gently lever the pistons back with a 10mm spanner or thin screw driver to start with, just dont dent the pistons.

thisisnotaspoon i was refering to field hockey where a plastic vball is struck rather than a puck.

Same in field hockey. I'm a forward and have to have a stick as stiff as I can get it, hence the £200+ price tags (not for me as I am sponsored 😆 )

Are you guys scared by going in planes?
Some of the make up is composite as it has been proven to be stronger for certain applications.

    Composite technology is the future.
Look at the new Zonda Carbon Titaniam mixture.
My new hockey stick is all carbon fibre and I hit a hockey ball 120mph and have the nuts hacked out of it every week and it is still crack free.

    Get out and ride!

OK, looks like a no no then.

Only problem is finding a 165mm i2i shock.

If anyone is selling one please let me know?

I would need to work it out as I dont have the frame at the mo.

May be easier to buy a second hand Fox R with 165mm e2e.

Kool, cheers for the advice. The Edge 705 dummies guide looks good and the free online mapping software is also rather good.

Yeah, I am on there now. Looks like a really good bit of kit.

I think I will buy the 705 as the price I can get it is soo stupid not to.

I assume if you ride a route it will record it for you with specific times to allow you to train to beat them.

Yep, that's why I have one!

Matt, I dont appear to be able to create a track.

I can put postcodes in and then it showns me a map and directions but can't self plot or save as gpx.

I assume you are talking about http://www.multimap.com

    I feel thick this morning.

I will be using this for training, road riding and also MTB work.

Matt, I wasn't aware you could plot a route on multimap.

    How do you do that?

One for all you Cranham riders.

At the bottom of the Popes wood bridle track (one from the top of the beacon past the back of the Royal William) there was a skin coloured 12" dildo.

It was hilarious, me and my friend could not believe it. I have a picture somewhere but wont post it as its a family site.

Computer is great. I have last years one with a heart rate monitor and it is accurate to +/- 5 BPM so it will do the job.

Also, their riding glasses are the only ones I use. £3 a pair. I have 3 all with different colour lenses in.

Snapped a pair a few weeks back so bought another set. Saves spending £100 on specialized ones everytime you fall off the bike and land on your face!

trev, I went from a Giant Trance in medium with 31" inside leg to a 18.5 virtual and it fits perfect.

I am 5ft 10" and found the 16.5" Actual miles too small. Your body weight is too far forward on it with the saddle up high.

I went for the 17.5 Actual and love it. Test ride one is my best advice. But don't just ride it round a car park. Find a hill and go up and down it.

It is a small I think. Cant find any frame details online. I know he will be happy to see it go to a good home, but if he does get ride of it, wants some £'s towards a new full sus.

Went this morning and need a better map for this route as we got lost on the way to Broadwell Jumps and then descended the dowhill track and ended up at the end of the Fodca but we should have gone right. But having said that, the downhill trail from the football pitch was super! Luckily I had a guy who used to ride it so he helped a bit. Fodca has been ruined in my opinion. It used to be dark then light then dark and now the trail is boring and needs to be given new life/course design.
Now the trees are down there is massive scope for improvement.

I think if you feel happy to try and engage and then allign with the DH guys and explain the current situation that will be great. Then possibly a few cheeky FC style no jumping signs to stop the riders who are not locals but know where the jumps are. And then possibly in the winter some no riding signs when it is saturated.

    Just an idea.
