I guess the question now is – which light is better?

Looking for one to use for 24 hour events and also 3 hour rides in the dark after work. Advice please?

Nothing like healthy competition. Increases shop sales and increases discounts for us lot.

Cycle World, I bought your last Yellow Giant STP Zero (was in your window apparently) and still love it 8 months on 😆

Yeah, Cranham corner to the dumping car park is bogging up nicely for winter.

Depends on how far the roundabout an righthand turn is.
But I would say if it is less than 200m stay in the right lane, anything more then stay left and then move right nearer the turning.

Yep, got a set that I am currently rebuilding ready for the bog fest that is winter.

Veggies are horrid for all day riding. The crease on the back pintches the back of your knee. Go for Kyle Straits.

Shrine, Cranham Corner, Racetrack, One Who Waits, Teachers all clear but bloody boggy in places. Did all the dirt jumps for the first time and didn't bail! Get in.

    I LOVE THE WOODS!

@axroads, it starts just after the steep climb about 50 yards on the left. Goes through some long grassy overgrown areas then dives into a steepish woodside where the trees are rather close to the edge of the trail. There are lots of switchbacks (not built up) and a large jump near the bottom before it brings you down to the stream and down to the bridge.

I thought someone said the jump had been messed with?

Them rocks at Jacobs are slippy. Get sticky tyres on!

Agree with the two above. It is a good course but not worth 2 1/2 hours on a bank holiday.

I was going to go (50 minutes) but decided to stick to local trails this weekend.

Have to also say, Halfords bike stand (purchased today). Ideal for putting the bike on when cleaning it. And only £12

Not to worry, have contacted the seller so we shall see what they say.
May be £15 down the bog as it is currently held on with PVC tape!

I am doing the 100k and it is not as difficult as the Selkirk one from last month. Not as much climbing as the majority of it is on a road at the start.

LMFAO, just got back in and finally found teachers after a few wrong turns.

Found it by riding down the side of the posh white house between the dumping car park and the saw mill.

There is a really good run in the wood near the bottom once you get off the muddy road.

Question, when you get to the bottom of teachers, where do people tend to go?
Over the bridge into Cranham or left back up the track to the posh house?

Brilliant sign, very funny. Shrine was clear and only had a few minor branches on the trail that could have fallen naturally. Up there again tomorrow so will keep this thread updated.
