Can only comment on DFDS Newcastle ferry booked for next week, 27th May. Cancelled as not sailing. Tried to re book online, to a cheaper crossing at the end of the year. DFDS wanted to keep the “extra” as a booking fee, saying that my original booking was non refundable. Finally, actually spoke to them. They were extremely helpful and the full refund was showing in my bank the next day.

    Siberian owner here, 11 years.
“Cat like” is a great description. Very independent and strong willed. Has been travelling to work with me his entire life. They don’t like being left alone and can become very destructive.
“It’s not hair, It’s Husky glitter!! There’s lots of it and they moult a lot. Husky breeders will tell you that they only moult, blow their coats once a year. It’s true – for 365 days!!
Need lots of exercise, minimum 2 good walks. Very rarely off the lead, only in an enclosed area, with no other dogs present. Can be perceived as aggressive, but mostly they just want to play – But, Huskies play rough. Have a very strong prey drive. Will hunt and kill almost anything “just for fun” and are very determined. As previous posters have mentioned, love to dig and climb, your garden would need to be husky proof, for sure.

    Yes, It works perfectly
You’d never know that i’d changed the screen

    Replaced mine myself
    Bought the kit from Amazon
Start in one corner. Heat the glass using the mrs’s hairdryer.
It starts to come away. You can see the glue changing colour
Gently prise a blade / small screwdriver under the corner and lift the corner then move around the screen
Patience is the key. Heat / lever / heat / lever.
I used a very thin wire (included in my kit) under the screen whist applying heat and slowly prised it away from the body. Used small card pieces to hold the glass from the body as I worked my way around.
Careful at the bottom as the “Home, return, menu” button is actually stuck on the rear of the screen.
When old glass is off. Remove the original glue, carefully from the digitiser screen. I just used my thumb, then cleaned the digitizer screen with methylated spirit.
Apply the supplied double sided tape to the replacement screen and press onto the body of the phone. I warmed the edges then pressed it face down ito a towel to ensure it was stuck
Works perfectly – 6 months now, no issues

Can’t stress enough. Take your time

@teleith. Sorry missed post from 4 days back. No mail received tho’.
    Distinct possibility of sale.
Broke my back when I fell off at Llandegla. Pinned and screwed and on the mend, but AM doesn’t hold too much appeal for me at present.
Back riding, gently does it for the time being.
It’s an 18′ in Sinbad Purple. Maxle r/end & Reverb. It’s a bit overkill for the rail tracks around where I live

@teleith I have an 18″ 2011, that due to quite a serious accident (for me) last year “could be” for sale. E mail in profile, if you’re interested. Although I’m in Durham, i have relatives in Sussex that i’ll be visiting at the end of the month

I went to Qatar last year for the MotoGp in late march. We stayed for 10 days in a hotel on the Corniche that did serve alcohol but to be honest we didn’t find the need (it’s odd that most people’s comments seem focused on this issue)
We had a really interesting time and found the peope friendly and generally elated that you would visit thier country.
We ate at the souk in Doha most nights, the food was of excellent quality and reasonably priced (far cheaper than eating in the hotel)
We hired a car for the duration and tried to see a bit of the country, but outside of Doha itself, its fair to say that the place is a big sand pit. The general standard of driving is poor but the highwaays are excellent and signposting very good.
The shopping is excellent, but the majority of Qatari’s are very wealthy and the retail outlets at the “shopping centres” reflects this. Still “bargains”to be had in the Souks though, if taht’s your thing.
We (party of 4) thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
It will be nice when it’s finished – There is a tremendous amount of builing work going on everywhere.

Broke both of mine in the same accident 6 years ago.(motorcycle)
Was in plaster for a couple of days, then had both pinned as a matter of emergency.
Both are holding up fine, but I am protective of them and always wear good gloves. Also find that I will blame twinges and aches on “the screws”. I think that cold weather affects them slightly and have to try and keep my hands warm.
But,they both work and do not stop me riding.
Let it heal and carry on as normal.
    Good luck

I’m about the same size. 18 fits me really well (i think)
Best to try 1st tho’ as it’s big outlay, to find you’ve made the wrong choice

Hamsterley is my “local” trail centre. I believe that the xc routes are worth the effort. There is along fire road climb half way through the red route, but the run down, is, I think worth the effort.
The black route is a bit more technically challenging, but again, I reckon the final “run in” is worth the effort.
Depends what you want from a day, I guess.
    How far are you travelling?

Hilarious, usually wear gloves. Forgot them at the weekend – now typing one handed, gravel rash – not amusing

I had a pair of 2008, which collasped but were rebuilt by Windwave to 2010 spec.
So far, so good – they are now better than they ever were. Much more responsive and feel far better damped.
TST & Lock out now work too!
