Re the pic above. Why did I spy the oregon 550 on the bars before I looked at the rest of the pic? 😆

Did you go because of the facilities or have you been reading Mumsnet?

my Mrs has been on mumsnet for years and the second I mentioned center parcs she mentioned the obvious association but apparently only on a Friday that happens. Lol

After a failed attempt to sort my 10 sp knc split linkage at the trail side I decided to make these for my bag.

just a old pair of long nose pliers with the tips bent to stop them sliding off the linkage and the handles biting my fingers.

This one the music flattens the atmosphere.

I thought the music set it right in the 80s obviously there was a few hitches with with a red bull car, but red bull wasn’t about then so I guess there had to be a compromise somewhere. Music is personal and not everyone will like the same thing. Can’t please everyone I guess.

Answer: mute the volume and put your own music on. 🙂 after all its all about the bikes. .. Right?

Who cares as long as your chain doesn’t jump off when you jump something stupid like a tree root and you go to pedal and nearly die. Love my x9 type 2.

I swear half the problems people have with tubeless out on the trails is because their mental thumb test calibration slips and they end up riding with much lower pressures than they think.

I agree. I was one of those people. I didn’t put any air in for about 2/3 months and joking about the people who monitor every psi and I just checked with my thumb. Not enough pressure and I chewed through a sidewall this scrapped the tyre

For balance. … I had a problem with a item I bought and I rang them up (Once) and the problem was dealt with straight away with a excellent outcome. I’d use them again without a doubt. Customer services second to none. And no I don’t work for them.

Just shown the Mrs the Halfords ad and she picked up on something. …. All those roadies beaten by a chubby girl after a ice cream. 😯

Because my amalgamation tape covers every mm of the chain stay so if the chain drops at the front you got cover.

This and it only sticks to itself and offers loads of protection and you remove it and there’s no sticky residue left on the frame. Start behind chain ring and finish at cassette with a stealth zip tie. And cheap and neat to and you could probably put a lizard skin overt the top if you want.

The clever thing with the Robinson’s one is once you’ve seen it a few times you see loads of clues.

    was it the watch? 😆

Would you believe it I was watching the Robinsons ad then got emotional a damn fly flew in my eye and made it water. Bad timing.

Two stans scoops in a mtb tyre for me. Probably a bit more than needed but I’m not a racer

+1 the little bottles don’t seem to have the gritty stuff the same like the bigger Black bottle. Don’t think of the bigger outlay of buying the bigger one because it’s a false economy. By the time you’ve bought 4 of them it’s the same price of the bigger bottle and you’ll get twice the amount. And the better product

Mines great. And it is a little clunky but isn’t it just the clutching device doing it thang? Leave it alone. 🙂

My point is that I signal both ways regardless of ease. If I got knocked off my bike because of brake setup and lack of signals then I’d accept I was at fault same as in the car. Also I use single carriageway too. Maybe I just slow down enough to control it before I signal who knows. *flame suit on*

I’m a bit confused here *prepares for flaming* I commute to work be it not far but I use a dual carriageway and obviously I signal my right turns going to work and coming home those rights becomes left signals. I don’t switch my levers over before leaving work and I’ve not gone otb yet. So should I not left signal in case I die? And to add some background I do this route 5 times per week in all weathers and have done for 8 years. Should I stop playing the odds now? 😕

    You would though wouldn’t you?

I would. … But I’d tell her I’m a cyclist after the event to make her feel used and dirty. #revengeissweet I’d obviously be doing it for the cyclists of course.

I say leave them euro style and don’t tell anyone. Then if someone asks if they “can have a go” you then have god like Control of whether they go otb 😀 depends how much you like them. Haha mwuhahahaa 😈

That’s another for the tally card. I was over there last week and they even placed rocks across the fire road climbing back out of the river run. I mean is pathetic and didn’t make any difference to me they must think we’re darleks or something and we can’t get over them. I pulled a few sticks that was stuck into the ground at 45° angles which could of been bad for someone. The mind boggles.

If you were a crosser surely one of the 26ers should be a 69er? Just for balance like. Then that’s sitting on the fence.

I’m running exact same mech and shifters. No problems here. Much better shoeing than my original x5 mech and not dropped a chain yet in 4 rides of jumping tree roots stumps rocks and general mucking about. I would like to eventually like to upgrade the shifters.

I had a 2.4 split on the bead and it wasn’t that old. I think it pinched between the rim and the surface of the fire road. so had to drain the the stans out and put a tube in for the rest of the ride. Got a 2.4 protection version on there now. Will see how that goes.
