Hard work. A few hardy souls went up but lots sacked it. Depends if you don’t mind pushing up.Fun to be had if you aren’t that concerned about mileage. Having said that it’s mild and light rain atm so who knows tomorrow?

The team running it usually go to The Traquair arms Sunday evening. Saturday usually sees some folk in the same pub – could be a few could be many but there should be something going on. There’s a Facebook page – Innerleithen MTB Racing – you could drum up some interest on there?

Apart from the racing the other stuff is free. It’s in it’s 3rd year this year and goes from strength to strength.

The group Br mentions found the forest roads to be quite treacherous in places having to ride right on the edges. Singletrack mostly OK but isolated icy patches which should be easier to spot in daylight. HTH
