How truly awful – I feel for you. We do our best but sometimes it’s just not enough, guess he was determined. Very sad. CPR rate of success is low – you did your best. I’d strongly suggest you get some help X

So educate me – where does medium tacky and hard compound come into it? Or is that specific to front/rear. Also is the older stock not so good?

You won’t beat Andy for knowledge, laughs and general niceness. He’s very good a getting it right and tailoring to ability/fitness and adjusting for weather etc.

Not done a trip with him yet (Need to sort that) but ridden with him quite a few times and had rave reports from friends who have.

We just agreed what we thought was fair, typed it up then got our (Late teenage) kids to sign as witnesses then presented it to solicitors later down the line and asked them to draw up a divorce settlement based on that. Went to plan but there were no arguments.

May has been amazing for a few years but last year was a bit earlier. I’d go for May 😀

I think the OP has a point. If it’s a small wooded area then there needs to be some sensitivity which if the guys are young they may not be in tune with.
We all need to share these resources and this won’t be helping the reputation on mtbers if it’s making a big mess/hazzard.

Really not sure what you should do apart from keeping up the dialog/ empathise – keep chatting to them then they may be more inclined to listen to what you have to say

This happens to me quite a bit. I just get up – go downstairs make tea and toast – go on tinternet for an hour – back to bed not feeling any more sleepy but it works! Give it a try. Don’t have to be up early though so that takes the anxiety of feeling the need to sleep (As you need to be up in x amount of time etc)

I really like the first and third ones – they feel like a lanscape painting that isn’t trying to be more than roughly painted wood, quite enchanting – if that makes sense

You could use the drop bag facility to leave a spare top/gloves if the weather is bad. Some guys really suffered with cold the year it was bad. All the bags are taken back to the finish area for you to collect. Good luck R 😀

So do people really think it’s helpful to be so rude about the OP’s bike? 🙄 Sorry but the guy just had his shop broken into – I really don’t see the need 🙁

There was a roadie a few summers ago that popped into The Hub. White lycra shorts and top but wow he could get away with it 😆 Tights though 😯

Too much faff. Why can’t kids/toddler parties be about fun and simple instead of what’s in the party bag? It all gets a bit one upmanship with all this attention to minute detail which is more about the adults than the toddlers. By then time they are about 8 they’ll be expecting a stretch limo to the cinema 😥 🙄 Take it down a peg or ten

What Muzzle said about Speedwell. Peak Cavern would be good as they get chance to experience it gradually as it has a huge entrance.
