I’d call it a red DH track – it’s not really xc is it as it’s quite steep?
Give it a whirl – take your time you can always walk bits if it’s not for you but I’m guessing you’ll like it. Your bike will be fine.
😀 Had a nice walk down there Tuesday. You are right – hillwalking boots required. That stage will certainly be interesting as if you falter, getting back on won’t be easy and ‘walking’ / ‘running’ will be very difficult too!
Just be aware of the little flag system in the bike park until you know the trails. If I remember correctly little red ones can denote anything from nice tabletop to river gap 😀
I saw a very crude one in Spain but using big plastic 2 litre bottles – just one long line on a roof but I guess it might be warmer (Quicker to heat up) in Spain 😀
I think its got steeper – worn away under the log makes rolling it a bit dodgy now. Don’t like the drop either – not enough run in for me although others cope 😉
Yes . Just patches on the black (Tuesday) most of that will probably be gone now. One HUGE drift in the trees off the Boundry trail but you can just put your crampons on for that bit 😉
Hard to say – not been up. The top Fire road at Inners has a lot of snow coverage but quite a bit of that route is in the open so might be OK. Think some parts may be challenging. Let us know how you get on.
Tazzzzzyyyyyyyyyyyy! I had a really bad dream (sob)……..Shimano said 26ers weren’t allowed on the trails anymore…….and the 20’s said I wasn’t cool enough to play with them (Sob)…….and, and I didn’t have any money to buy a 650b……….(Coz I spent it all on my **** house)
