That CRC one is the newer model, I have the older version that says 104/64 but is 64 only

The k-force light ones (I think they are the model from 2 years ago). They are a double and only have 64bcd as an option, no larger outer ring fitment. Well thats the reality, the document shows 64 and 104 bolt positions

64mm, not 104 as it said in the doc. The largest I can find is 28T but was after a 32T.

Used to live near Swinley so know the commute to the aeroport well. Hmmm might give this a go (if I manage to get my bike back together following project 1×10)

Tempted, but what would the finish time be? I have to be at Heathrow by 4pm

Ordered a long sleeve top for 19.99, will see how it goes.

(agree on the comment above about the tyres, they seem to be “seconds” compared to examples bought elsewhere)

V8 and 12 are the same, just materials used on the two.

Is it sad that I instantly recognized that track

Not as sad as recognising the track then saying Suzuka in a crap Japanese accent 😳

Run five tens on V12s at the moment. Very grippy in the wet, however a muddy climb on foot yesterday saw me slip of the pedal for the first time in a while when I got back on. They are pretty good, up until a point. Not sure you will get more grip on the pedal without going clips again.

Had this on mine as well. It is too much data on the device. If you have done any long rides (more than a couple of hours data) this seems to be the ones that cause it issues when there are lots to transfer. If you can select the individually that might work, otherwise its a case of delete some then import the remaining ones.

I tend to delete all every month now to stop the problem.

I know this is of little help, but BB30s seem like a massive faff and I wish I had not bought a frame with one.

Out of interest how long did yours last?

I have what seems to be a slightly larger head, a large giro pinched my head but I have found the specialized s-works fits nicely. Yes it’s pricey, but it fits comfortably.

Was going to buy XTR stuff for a 1×10 conversion, but baulked at the price. XT works out at about half and I doubt it is only half as good.

CRC only want £4 more for the XTR….

Possibly, the internet descriptions are a bit lacking. The interior of the cable housings might be better quality and more “lubed” but not 100% sure

Lots of effort, even if his skills didn’t always match it. Shame to see him go if I am honest

    As for Na$ri?

I do feel for Eboue, not the sharpest tool in the box. He was given shit the day he was booed, but he was terrible that day.

To be fair to him he has taken a pay cut to goto Barca. They are still a bunch of shits the way they have acted over this whole thing though.

Run a FSA double up front on mine but apart from that it’s XT all round.

An unofficial survey today – hand up and “hi” got no responses, nod of head got 75%. Conclusion, some roadies are miserable

If it is borked you can get an out of warranty replacement from Apple Stores (book a genius appointment) and they will give you a refurbed iPhone (looks like new) for £139. Did it myself last week.

In the main it’s not no (I lived there as a kid) but the sections on the Koppenberg etc has some very short sections of >20% am riding in that area.

Am having a similar dilemma myself after signing up to a road “holiday” in Belgium. Roadbike was my turbo trainer and the 11-25 cassette and standard double chainrings are filling me with fear (I don’t run a granny on my MTB but think that this combo on my roadbike will make me walk).

Will a compact be enough or should I go for a new cassette as well, I understand that at most I would only be able to go as high as 26 or maybe 28 at a push on the short cage at the rear.

I recall that a colleague at work called the emergency services out to a “fire” which turned out to be lights reflecting in rainwater on the runway.

Better safe than sorry to be fair, but we did laugh at him.

Just as a heads up, no bikes on trains out of Brighton between 4pm and 7pm.

If its the rubber strip to convert non-tubeless rims I didn’t use rim tape when I did mine and they lasted the winter (are in the shed now as I now have tubeless rims)

Police were pretty cagey about the condition/extra miles on mine when I asked them. Not sure what had happened to it given that. Keep scouring autotrader to see if it comes up as the insurance co are “disposing of it” now.

    Nothing taken here either 🙁

Had mine stolen (6 month old car) and the insurance paid out fairly quickly. Car was found, to the surprise of the police, about 2 months after it was stolen.

My question is, would you really want it back? I didn’t.

I run one, but it’s a double chainset rather than a triple. Reading some other forums it seems that depending on which triple you pick will have an effect on if it rubs or not. On-one are pretty good if you call them and speak to the bike builders.

Have FSA k-force light on mine, no issues in the few months I have had them. Seem stiff, can’t say they are stiffer than previous shimano ones I have used but it was the weight that was the thing I was after.
