Scrap that driver advice, I didn’t read problem properly.

You should try a Linux bootdisk as described above. If not its freezer time.

If clicking noise, put in freezer bag, into freezer for a few hours.

That mightget it going long enough to copy data.

    I have one of these

    netgear

Very relaible, I havent rebooted it in over 2 years. Other brands are available such as qnap, iomega etc etc. Ebuyer sometimes have good deals.

You can buy one pre-populated with drives, or unpopulated which may save you a few pounds but if you ain’t too hot with the computaz probably easier to buy with the drives already in.

One feature to look for is mirroring or RAID1 (the same thing) which means one drive is a copy of another so if one fails it keeps on trucking with no data-loss, although you do then only have half the capacity (e.g. you buy one with 2x1TB drives you only get 1TB for your files as the other drive is a copy, rather than 2TB space). But i’d say it was worth it.

Also depending on how much data you have how many drives (bays) it can take can be a factor, but generally for home use one that takes 2 drives should be ok….

had it past 8 years really, really bad at one stage, bandages on at night etc, bedsheets would look like someone was shot in the morning!

Calmed down a bit now – mainly on arms and feet. It’s a pain, but I use epiderm from prescription. slap it on after shower etc and does the trick.

Resigned myself to never getting rid now tbh. tried all sorts of things like bath salts, chinese mediciene etc, none worked for me.

Must of just missed you – I did it as well on Saturday.

Didnt really like the drainage stuff tbh, punctured a lot – do to lack of skill of course. Don’t think i’d bother again, unless i get tubeless tyres.

Lovely wee bit down through the forest mind you.

Ain’t done it for a couple of years, but once you start going down, its damn good fun, but watch out for the ruts at the side….and a nice river to splash through at the end. Exposed at the top mind you.

Cafe at BOT has shut as well, just in case you were planning some cake.

Lenovo will be better build quality.

Not much in it, but if you get the Acer , you could always add more ram later and it has the better cpu.

    Argarten loop here:

    These spring to mind

    1) There is a loop from the visitors center at Argaten down the peninsula over to Lochgoilhead. Bit of a pull up the tarmac road to the top of the rest and be thankful though… Easy enough to spot on an OS map.

    2) Another one from arrochar up to loch sloy dam (i think it that one anyway) then back some fairly enjoyable single track.

You could hop on the ferry over to inversnaid if you want to do a bit of the west highland way. I wouldn’t do that section myself, but plenty seem to do it…

There is another route near Furance at Inverary that takes you over the hill down to loch awe, I think that now has an offical name but can’t remember it. Not particulary near loch lomond, but in the right direction.

Saw them in glasgow, didn’t enjoy it too much tbh.

Too much new stuff from their most recent album, and not enough of the old stuff. No aces high for example. Not even a run to the hills!

These Merrels however are frikin ace

Seriously tough and comfy. But i suppose with your previous experience you might want to avoid, I’ve got 2 merrels and they are both rock solid. Tiso have a sale on them as well i think if you are nearby.

My aeros make a noise above 80, and that’s even with the wee bits of rubber installed. Good kit though.

If you are going to halfords you should sign up to quidco – save yourself 7% instore with your credit card.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

I don’t even know what u-turn is…, i was just browsing the classifieds for 140s for around £200. I’m not sure if £200 is a fair price to pay for second hand forks, seems quite a lot cash to me, not wanting anything too flash, just reliable.

    Pike are these ones.

Generally deals arn’t that much better, but you can save a wee bit.

As molgrips said the keyboard will wrong and also I would check that the warranty would be ok in the UK. Be wary of the damn pesky state tax depending where you go as well….

I just watched the across america one, and was confused as I didn’t see him racing anyone, I assumed I had missed something obvious… still that jog through death valley looked a touch tricky.

Thats the kinda race I could win quite easy.

Sounds like your nickname file has disappeared (or you have logged in with a temporary profile). Have a search/root about in for C:\Docs & Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook for a file name nk2 and copy that over.
