i think the pro version enables the low-power gps mode option, so it doesn’t drain the battery in your phone so quickly.

If you mean encrypting the whole hard drive – Nope youll hardly notice. but check hardware compatibility carefully before you install it. I’ve had some nasty surprises with incompatible dell controllers iirc.
