I think the most I’ve spent is £40, but my riding glasses are now £12 Ebay jobs. Polarised, photochromic lenses. I’ll just replace with the same when they get damaged or scratched.

The only time I treated myself to some expensive Smiths glasses (I was in France on holiday feeling flush), I left them behind at a rugby tournament.. Found some replacements the same on Ebay, so bought them and crashed wearing them on the bike and now they have a big scuff on one lens!

This lens distortion bollocks cheap glasses are supposed to have, as mentioned in reviews of £200 glasses on this site, is utter nonsense.

Don’t be too surprised if you receive the wrong items. Or nothing at all. Vision Express are one of the worst companies I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with

I just remembered an embarrassing situation at a gig… It was a mini-festival at Somerset House in that shitty ol London place. I was dancing to Wiley and this girl started frottaging me. Like, seriously. I must’ve been dancin so arousingly that she couldn’t keep off me. Only thing was, this was 2018 and I was about 54. She was about 17. Lordy it was flattering, but I had to speak nicely to the child and sneak off to another part of the dancing area. Once I could walk properly.

I did the RP23 a couple of times, a few years back. Find a video on Youtube (or the SRAM website?) and follow it. It did make a big difference, changing seals and lube back then when I used to ride a lot and give the suspension a damn good thrashing.
I say follow a video, cos there is a dangerous bit where it can go POP! and you wanna be ready for that!

It was an incredible performance. All the Olympics over the years, GB riders have always under-performed and at last one has got the gold. Well done Tim.
