Not really. Rims are Mavic (road/mtb/allroad), Stans, Bontrager; tyres – Spesh (always easy tbf), Schwalbe, Goodyear, Bonty … pretty random. Been tubeless long enough to know when I’ve found something that works.

When I was changing to 1X I checked some videos on YT. Seem to recall a fella doing a fair bit of testing to cure this. I think he found SRAM chains were best and less prone to jumping during freewheel/back pedal. (It was a while ago, so it may not have been SRAM, but he definitely cured it by changing chain. )

Don’t know the answers, I think there used to be a website like fillthathole.org.uk called clearthattrail? doesn’t seem to be anymore. Sick of the nettles and brambles overgrowing on the bridleways and paths round here though. Considered taking power tools to it many a time.
Guess the councils only have people employed to stop others clearing the foliage, rather than to actually do it.

The only problem I can deduce was the expletive exchange. If it had been 2 people on foot, someone, say stepped out of a shop doorway, in front of another pedestrian, who stopped and avoided contact, it would’ve been *smile* Oops, sorry mate, and on with the day, forgotten in seconds.
