Chain Reaction have got the Cannondale Winter Plus gloves for £15.99
I’ve got some Cannondale ones (not the same model) bought in Evans sale for £12 about 2 years ago – bloody brilliant they are.

Maplin’s used to do wire-rope cutters for £7.99, which were pretty much the same as Pedros cable cutters (I bought some for my brother and they worked well). They don’t do them anymore, so I’d be interested to know if anyone’s found something similar.

(Edit) just checked the Parkers ones on Ebay and they are the same. Get them, they’ll be fine.
