I mostly just wear Ion t-shirts, bought cheap from wherever I can find them. Thought I’d treat my kid to a Troy Lee, MTB specific shirt – bloody pricey it was! and after 1 day’s use it was knackered! Backpack straps had worn away the top colouring and pilled the material. One day! some of which he was wearing a jacket over it. Unbelievable.

Some of that Loose Riders (shame about the name?!) is worth checking. Good colours, small logos, decent prices (on sale, anyway).

I’m sorry, whatnow?! Merthyr Rocks is just a short version of Rim Dinger (runs parallel to it). Love em both, personally, but I wouldn’t say they are fast and flowy like Norkle.

There we go then – saw a nice, young, chatty doc this morning about my headaches. Asked about ablation and he said about the risks involved, versus the benefits to someone like me, who has AF, but can get on with life mostly as normal. As I don’t really get too many side-effects and my only real downside is being less energetic than before, it’s not worth it. So sticking with 27* drugs a day is best.

The materials cost is only a small part of the total cost for the whole design, manufacture, logistics cycle of the tyres journey to your bike or car. Everything else will be cost similar between a bike tyre and car tyre which explains the cost.

Raceface use that tighten-til-it-hurts + silly little spacer/lockring thing system, just like DUB. I can only see Shimano as the decent option. But then someone always says they have trouble with Shimano too. Dunno how, I never have.

After spending 2 days solid in my Ion flats, I’d say try their spds. First time I’ve not had a sore little toe from riding. Bliss.
Only other shoes I have nearly as comfortable are Specialized 2FOs, but even they aren’t as nice as the Ions.
