Just a quick bump, for people who are out and about today.

This has really messed with my head, trouble sleeping, waking up at the slightest noise. Rubbish.
Any book recommendations on mental focus, calmness etc.
    Thanks

Just finished making the garage super secure.
A phrase about horse’s is springing to mind.

John Lewis cover up to 5k for cycles. All good.
But it has a limit of 1k per bike.
    Excess is £500
I guess I have fallen in to the trap that these things only happen to someone else.
One slip up and this happens.
I am so careful of people never seeing my garage contents.

    Chaines in loughton, really helpful.
Mate had his commuter stolen from cmk train station a few months back.
He came up with the figure 150 bikes stolen from the station in the last 12 months. Shocking.

I suspected a full DH bike would be over kill. The other downside is I can not make out that I am lost and had no intention of any DHing.
The german brands look amazing value.

    Will google the Kona.

Surface scuffs, a bit of tape helps. How robust is it in 5/10 years of hard riding? who knows. time will tell I guess.
If mine breaks it breaks, no worries as long as I walk away ok.
    Anyone broken one yet?

I echo the try before you buy. Rear suspension was very good for pedaling, never had a plush feel though.
Evans should have them to demo in large or at least the foxy r.

I really wanted to like it, ride something different to the crowd.
But the Five is outstanding when descending. It brings out my loony side.
Like the Dixon, but lots of bearings and pricy.
    Went for the Five.

Feeling your pain, I suffered for a year or two with alot of pain.
Get physio, this will hurt. But you should be pain free for a day or two afterwards.
Hit the weights big time. DB press, deadlifts, rows.Heavy and hard, power lifting type movements.
No supplements make that much differnce really, but knock yourself out.
Tried, mega dose vit c 5g day plus. Devilsclaw.Udoes oil. Glucosimine, chondtin, cisscus. May help out alittle.

More info my C456 is a 16″, very similar TT length to the 17″ five.

Randomjeremy going nuts the 16″ felt perfect, hops, jumps, manuals, anything in the down direction all A1. Just riding along, getting to the fun stuff a little cramped.
Would wider bars make it feel better?
Sh#t still confused what to do.
Skywalker if the 17″ just as nimble? The wheelbase is a little longer.
