Dude a dirty trainer and Dell?

And it’s unlucky to put a shoe on the desk, the sky will now fall on your head.

Everything I have is cool, most of it I can’t tell you about because you are all clearly uncool (especially trainer dell desk dude)and probably not good looking.

But I’ll let you into my cool watch, because it’s very sunny here, a great day and I feel much better thank you.

Edit: Oh I nearly forgot it’s cool because it has stuff that pilots use and I haven’t got the foggiest idea how to work it because I’m not clever, just cool, cool people are not clever, they told me that when I bought it.

Don’t Gravity Enduro series work a bit like that? Kind of time trial and down bits.. I don’t really know much about them, just the dude who sold me my bike said it would be great for Gravity Enduro racing so I guess it must be happening somewhere.

    Late edit.. Here I googleyed

Those brands in that list are not cool, if they were they wouldn’t be on that list, the moment a brand is in the Daily Mail it ceases to be cool, then if it goes and does this..

Like bikes, my bike is really cool, it’s cool because nobody else has one like it, at least not where I ride. It’s so cool I’m not even going to tell anyone what it’s called, because you would all want one then it wouldn’t be cool, it’s cool because I ride it.

I’m cool. I’m ridiculously good looking, I make the bike cool simply by being on it, I ride wearing cool clothes from cool brands, I’ve got a really cool helmet it’s the lightest helmet ever built, that’s why it’s cool, because it does something special. Kids stop and stare and go wow look at that cool dude on that cool bike, with the cool helmet, I ignore them, if I stopped to speak to them it wouldn’t be cool.

Then I bust a really cool move, like jumping the kerb, they go like cooowooool.

The Daily Mail once wanted to take my picture – I won’t let them.

Alvin Stardust tried to talk to me the other day, (he rides MTB’s) I ignored him his bike wasn’t cool.

If I met any of you, I’d probably ignore you as well unless you had a bike like mine, then I’d be polite, then go home and sell my bike immediately..

Nobody cool posts on an internet forum about cool things.

If anyone wants to to really shoot my flawless complexion in total quality they use large format, you 35 mm dudes are talking round in circles, your cameras are toys, reading you arguing with each other about quality on a small area sensor…. What can I say.

To the OP I say buy it dude, this year I have lost two good friends, they’re dead, gone, no more photo opportunities for them, buy the 700 now dude and go create and show us your pictures. I love good photography, (especially if it includes me) tomorrow the sky could fall on your head, buy the camera now quality at your level? Don’t even discuss it, your photos will all go on crappy internet or computer screens so why worry?

    Life is too short.

Cibachrome hah it always washed out, it was never for detail, it just had long term UV resistant dyes for display prints and lightbox use.

‘Pseuds’ Dahling it’s pseuds, lots of us in the fashion game, if you look em in the eye with one eye and the other through the finder, it’s easier to catch the ‘expression’ just right, can’t do that with screen things, wrong focal length your eyes can’t focus at two different lengths, whereas, mirror or live view finders enable that, hence ‘pseudish’ being in touch with the ‘subject’ and you must have seen fashion dudes putting the camera on a tripod and working with a remote..

Anyway, I digress, it’s a male model thing, you get to know this stuff..

How could the sensor and light metering function if it was connected to the viewfinder?
The viewfinder is just a little screen behind an eyepiece. The live image can be taken electronically from the sensor and displayed on the screen. No light interference required.

Oh like on my Lumix, don’t like them, no sense of reality and the image never looks totally sharp, nasty cheap thing, spoils an otherwise neat little camera and there’s an annoying shutter delay(my Lumix, not your Nikon which looks totally cool and I’m sure will take excellent stuff.) I don’t know why they do it, you lose touch with the subject, it must cost more, sorry nearly went on a rant there…

I’m going, I’m working near there anyway. But somebody told me not many trade people are going and lots of brands had boycotted it, nobody wanted to go to the NEC , budgets have been cut, they had a better time in London and there’s a new show there at the same time as the Boat show..

Hmm maybe, I hadn’t studied it that close, it just looked like the viewfinder was operating through that little circle just off to the right. How could the sensor and light metering function if it was connected to the viewfinder? Surely there would be ambient backlight, I don’t know, not a huge expert I just pose in front of them, don’t pay me any mind..

There are cheaper Leica’s though, just seems a bit not cool Nikon entering that market, I love their SLR’s have one myself and an old F1 film version lurking somewhere.

    derekrides

Hmm I wouldn’t be impressed with anyone pointing one of those at me, if you like that sort of camera buy the M9 (Leica) get some class.

Whilst they cut down on shake from the mirror, up close there might be parallax issues, which some folk don’t like in some situations, it’s why SLR’s became de rigeur in the first place, so it is a bit of a fashion thing, I can’t see many pro’s adopting it, which then means semi pro amateurs won’t like it much either..

Looks cool but – not as cool as a Leica though.

I know I don’t read good, and I’m not the sharpest tool in the box, but can anyone explain what abscission has to do with lights, in those smudge lights they say no abscission. I need to know if I’ve got abscission now and how bad my life will be if I get it.

Oh and if any of you kind biking people answer this I have another question whilst I have someones attention, I want to put like those little led lights on my bike, like they have on cars, like a strip of them, yes it is for over the top effect, but I need it to cheer me up I’m having a bad time right now.. Anyone know where to get such a thing?

It’s a very good time to buy, but be careful not to fully max out your expenditure, expect interest rates to go up, they will not stay this low forever, certainly not for the lifetime of the loan.

But if you can get a loan do it, why not?

The whole world is in debt, it’s a debt driven economy you’re treated with absolute contempt if you’re thrifty and a saver..

As long as you leave enough margin for the value of the house to drop a further ten percent, or the interest rate to triple, you’ll be fine…

One other point that makes a difference is the property in the North or the South?

Neutrinos? I didn’t think they were ‘matter’ in the conventional sense, they obey different rules, pass ‘through’ normal matter at a sub atomic level. This is all quantum physics, it’s a whole **** up other game with stuff occupying two places simultaneously, can’t quite understand how they can measure it.

Hmm I think some of you are missing the point here. Because we buy power in from overseas (France) at about 80p per unit the Government are happy to pay you 41p per unit you generate via your Solar or Wind machine.

If you then use units they cost around 15p, wether you generate them for yourself or not, so if you use them then you get a net profit of 26p, if you don’t then its 41p.

So my little thinking about it scam was using the mains to power a wind machine to generate the 41p using energy that cost 15p when it aint windy, haven’t sorted it yet, but will report back if successful, have no qualms now about stiffing the government of thieving expense claimers..

In any event it’s a good thing and you’re saving the planet (except my scam that’s not saving anything other than a few bob pour moi) As to the whole what you have to do to break even on them, you shouldn’t think like that, after all how do you ever break even owning a car?

    derekrides

Yes, buy haven’t got my feed in tariff working yet, but the panels are working.

And I have this cool idea for a scam with a wind machine driven off the mains working the tariff difference…

Politicians are the same bunch of feckless fools and liars in any country, it’s the commercial trade barriers that still exist, via trade organisations, bodies local ‘societies’ that rule what exactly happens at a fiscal level. Ever wondered why the French get sold French cars and the Germans German cars predominantly, ever tried to organise a trade event in Germany only to be blocked and the following year a German company runs your ‘show’.

The trouble my “agency’ had trying to break into Europe, just doesn’t bear close examination, here in the UK our market is much more open and welcoming to companies from any nation to trade, it aint the same in Europe.

It has to be coowell and none of the nerds in the local bike club ride it and be reasonable value for money but not cheap (or the nerds would get one) then the moment I see a nerd on one like it, I sell it immediately.

Don’t agree with the Tandem dude, he’s clearly never worked in Europe, which is fine in principle but they don’t obey the rules, both France and Germany are nationalistic in extreme whilst we are not, they ignore rules we have jobsworths that apply each and every edict to the letter.

Our place would be better served out, and stop selling our global importance short, we should never have signed up for Maastricht, it’s too complicated all this, to be broad stroked in a forum, but joining the single currency him and that Godless Philandering Prevaricator Clegg must be the only folk left who think that way.
