I compile lists of people on forums.. Funnily enough you’re on it, but for some reason you are number 2 on the section marked cool people so you must have done something during my brief period here that wasn’t insufferable..

Had an ebay fest, sold a lot of stuff i no longer use.
Started charging for some articles I write instead of doing it for free..
Don’t eat out as much. Bulk up on Muelsi for breakfast don’t go out for lunch.
Don’t rent or buy dvd’s engage in dodgy download practises.
Don’t buy bike mags, use internet stuff like Imbikemag and places like this for infotainment have even sadly cancelled my sub to MacUser which I’ve had forever.

Sadly it’s all a little dull. No undying declarations of love or short term passion, just one drunk person not opening their mouth when a friend would have. Attempted apology in the days after but after bumping into each other (work day, no chance to talk), it’s clear there’s something not right. Still only happened a couple of weeks back. Consensus seems to be, talk about it.

Agree with Stuey, who’s funeral is it and what is your level of respect/love for that individual and what would they have worried about what you looked like in life..

I religiously suit up for Funerals, even my mothers not that long ago, but I remember thinking then why, she wouldn’t have worried, I never suited up especially for her in real life, so why do we do it, more for the rest of the folk at the funeral i guess and respect for the occasion.

How the mighty fall…

My first SLR was a Pentax, the Spotmatic, in its day ’66 way ahead of the field, then later Nikon came along and then Canon. They I believe used metal leaf vertical focal plane shutter that enable flash sync beyond 60th of a second which was a bit of a drag with that horizontal rubber silk affair.

I can’t remember the exact history of how it was that Pentax lost their way, but I’ve had Nikon ever since, got a fairly good Nikon f4s sitting in a billingham bag collecting dust if anyone could give me a good reason and a sensible offer to give it a good working home..
