    ^same here.
makes me think they've also reduced the amount per bag.
I polished off an entire big green bag in less than an hour earlier this week, shouldn't have been able to do that…

cheers- i think I must have only done the upper part of D Rake, back in april.

Cave dale, nice. I actually punched the air and fist-pumped on finally reaching the gate at the bottom without a dab, luckily no walkers were around to take the p155

on sunday night chalk up "call me for a good time 079098xxxxxx etc" on the road in a big heart shape at the lights you always stop at.
monday morning make sure you get there just before her and subtley draw her attention to it and grin innanely whilst fiddling with something in your pocket

WE do both on one of our local loops.

Dirtlow Rake is a fast, loose rocky descent designed to give you pinch flats.

eh? you dont mean cavedale into castleton do you? the only dirtlow rake I know is a gravel road….

yeah, before they moved onto Ti and compliant forks design I think

yep, I found riding in the drops off road quite weird first time but I got quickly used to it and loving the crosser!
I feel much more solid on the bike on descents, fast corners etc when low in the drops.
its good fun seeing how far you can push the skinny tyres on corner before getting a bit of driffy that scares the hell out of you

yeah, I would have liked to have seen hubs factory, or at least some emphasis on how key they are to a decent ride, could have put a bit of that in an cut out a bit of the nodders in blue bibs going round portland

    excellent programme overall I thought.
agreed brooks saddle looked a bit 'heritage' next to modern stuff.
didnt catch what forks he got or what hubs- dont think they were record but could have been???
the old dudes from klunkerz were still ripping the corners pretty well.
did anyone else think that art student's puppies looked rather fake?

seriously, this has to be a fishing fred, that silhoutte is suuuuch a bad choice- it looks like a bad drawing FFS!

I didn't realise before but I believe they custom spray overnight!

unless they would have predicted that Chavanel would be leader of both green and yellow competitions as above!

    what MrK mkII says.
a few bridleways but generally quite clay-based mud.
could try woods either side of silverstone- there's a bit i think but other than that there's some pleasant road only rides around the lanes through pretty villages to north / west….

not sure you've explained the scenario very well- are you going on about the vertical edge of some tiles that stop half way along a painted wall, or the horizontal top edge of some tiles stopping half way up a wall?

anyway I would deffo paint the wall first in both those cases

yeah, I think the only sense that it is stolen will be that it was bought from the pay packet 'earned' by a bailed-out investment banker. at least they haven't gone for the top of the range helmet…..

just out of interest, those of you who have had broken hand bone diagnosed with Xray, what has the treatment been?
when I broke my hand (punching my mates brother) the docs said there's nothing they would do any way, just put a bit of bandage around it for a bit…..

8 miles each way .. 30 mins through central london though with 6000 sets of traffic lights.

That's only 16mph, if you get lucky on the lights that seems plausible.

errr, yes, if I got lucky on every single set of lights for 8 miles in london I'd be buying a few lottery tickets too.
factoring in even 5mins for light stops you average 19mph. still not realistic imo given stop/start/slowing/weaving buses/cabs….
agreed possible, but you'd prob die within a few attempts either getting hit by a bus/tourist/fixie hipster not paying attention

    Average speed?No idea, I'd guess 46 mph

bloody hell. unless you're running red lights, I take it you commute on a superlight TT bike with full flash gordon helmet, averaging in the high 30s when on the move?

I think the as-yet unspoken truth is that for many scotch (above included) they actually prefer to support 'not england' than scotland.
the reason why is sadly obvious.

We Scots are always deeply suspicious of this sort of thing, it tends to confirm our suspicion that our government regards itself as a government of Greater England than of a United Kingdom.

do you reckon Gordon Broon and Al Darliing took the same view when they were holed up in numbers 10 and 11???

also remember that with campag you have fewer cables visible on the bars – directed through the levers so looks neater!
(unless shimano have also started doing this).

Got the council CCTV as well,

nice one. How did you do this- would it be just as easy for a civvy to get this for example if they had had car damaged or been knocked off bike by cab driver for example?
