If I was you and could stretch it to £2275, I’d be considering a Bird Aeris 2.

    Rear Shock RockShox Monarch RT3
Forks RockShox Pike RCT3 Solo Air 150mm
    Wheels DT Swiss E1700 Spline
Drivetrain Shimano SLX with RaceFace Turbine Cranks on 1×10
    Brakes Shimano SLX
    Seatpost RockShox Reverb Stealth
    Bars RaceFace Turbine 760mm
    Stem Bird 35mm 31.8ø
    Tyres Choice of Maxxis tyres

Or go frame only at £850 and build your own.

I’ve no experience of them – however they seem to get good reviews and there’s a few enthusiasts on here.

I visited the Bird website to have a look at specs and price – impressive. That’s a lot of bounce for the ounce.

What does it weigh in at?

OTB incident resulted in a left subluxation and a full anterior dislocation on the right. Popped left in myself by holding the top tube and bending down at the knees. A&E Dr used the Kocher manoeuvre for the other – very painful

Recommend resistance band exercises and maybe a decent physio.

Was back on the bike in 9 days.

Possibly hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (thickening of the heart walls) – repeated and intense training at that level can make it worse?

I think recently they’ve introduced screening processes for footballers.

As above – hope it went as well as it possibly could.

It’s quite weighty. Interesting articles that avoid being reheated tropes seen time and time again. The features are well laid-out and the photography is excellent, as you might have anticipated.

    An impressive launch.

Douglas Hurd – skilled statesman and diplomat.

Charles Kennedy – possibly the only politician in the last 15 years who I’d trust not to **** me over for the sake of it.

Just went to the fridge to get a beer and started banging out some back-in-the-day moves, which at 42 and wearing my M&S jim-jams was tragic beyond description.

off to find a trance playlist on spotify, anyone have a recommendation?

Currently listening to Trance Top 1000 – The Best Trance Classics by Armada Music.

4Strings ‘Turn it Around’ is a great one.

    scotlandthedave,

Good tunes there, especially Blank and Jones. Their cover of Kosheen’s ‘Catch’ is superb.

I think I’ve said it before on a thread years ago on here, but worth repeating how astonishing this was on a loud live-set.

Love Trance, particular vocal and progressive. I’ll link one favourite and suggest a number of others.

Bullet in the Gun – Planet Perfecto

Beautiful – Matt Darey & Marcella Woods

    Happiness Happening – Lost Witness

    Strange World – M.I.K.E / Push

    Carte Blanche – Veracocha

    Silver Bath – Plastic Boy

    Closer – Susana

Sun and Moon – Above & Beyond

    Church of Ra – Digger

In and Out of Love – Armin van Buuren

Adagio for Strings – William Orbit

EDIT – changed as Lunge beat me to it.

He was found guilty of a serious specified offence that carries a maximum term of life imprisonment. The deliberate selection of a vulnerable victim and extent of injury (physical & mental) caused are aggravating factors. From what I understand the attack took place during the hours of darkness, which again aggravates the offence. It also took place outside the victims home address – the location can also be a factor that indicates a more serious degree of harm. These features impact on the culpability of the offender and harm caused by the offence.

The starting point is 4 years custody with a sentencing range of 2 – 7 years depending on circumstances. I don’t know what his previous was or whether the offence was committed whilst on bail or under an order.

He’s lucky not to have been weighed off for longer despite the presence of some mitigation.

I did it on a HT (Cove HJ) and it was fine. There’s nothing there that a HT can’t cope with. My Strava record shows the elevation as 4167ft, for what it’s worth.

Tomorrow I have my annual scuffling recertification (I don’t recall its proper name), which experience tells me will be a mind numbingly dull day of learning unnecessarily complicated ways of fighting with rascals and putting handcuffs on them.

You’ll be amazed at how you managed the last year without knowing the entangled thumb lock, whilst listening to the trainer tell you about the time his lantern extinguished during a ye olde stope searche!

There’s a lack of optimism on this thread – suggest zip-ties top and bottom and confine riding to XC or light AM, but not Enduro.
