despite obviously being genuinely disliked …tell them how much they are reviled?

    – a bit strong for an internet forum isn’t it? Does this place really evoke those feelings in people – says more about the ‘sufferers’ than contributors IMHO.

At least they have balls if nothing else – It’s the anonymous gobshit3s that do my head in.

I’ve had my life saved by thre Air Ambulance before.. I think as MTB enthusiasts we kind of owe it to ourselves to donate to our local air ambulance..

    Good post.

I have to shave my head … unless I’d have ‘The Nutkins’ – which isn’t a good look.

Khani – have a short back and sides, but grow it out at the front and put in a natty side parting.

Why is it necessary for regional news presenters on the TV to inject puerile and inane humour into the lighter hearted news pieces, or engage in imbecilic and embarrassing chatter with the weatherman? The naff, unfunny double-entendre’s between co-presenters is reaching fever pitch on ‘Points West’ at the moment with the current incumbents Alex Lovell and David Garmston cracking awful jokey asides whilst the tumbleweed blows across the screen.

Just give me the news FFS and spare us will you?

Agreed – Lewis is a depressingly foreseeable, unvaried bore-fest.

For me, Detective programs have to be gritty and realistic – like Cagney and Lacey or Murder, She Wrote.

    Mate,

Not ‘Techno’, but If you’re Mode fan have you ever listened to any Electro-Industrial groups?

    Try –

Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, The Covenant, Front Line Assembly, Nine Inch Nails, VNV Nation, Young Gods, Mesh.

Spacebuoy recently supported Erasure – really good band.

It’s heavily associated with anonymous logorrheic’s that like to spout off a great deal, safe in the knowledge that their unlettered posts will not be attributed to them personally in the ‘real world’.

My best mate suffers from it – he’s an extremely bright, insightful and colourful character. He has a thrill seeking personality and has got in a few scrapes over the years as a result. I know he’s been prescribed mood stabilizers, Ritlalin and various SSRI’s.

In terms of his coping skills he needs routine, a good diet and quality sleep. He’s also avoidant of situations that might cause unnecessary stress.

He’s in the process of taking back control of his destiny – and doing well at it.

Is that a Welsh name – how would you pronounce it?

    All the very best.

I think he has a valid point – the rhetoric from new political leaders indicates that they’ve had a tits full of pulverizing austerity medicine and mean to throw it back up. It only takes one country to head towards revolution like Greece and suddenly there’s contagion, a fracturing of mainstay political parties and the rise of radicalism.

For years since the early 90’s Farage was the ridiculed lone voice for pulling out of the EU … and the laughter of those dissenters seems to be diminishing at the pace this disaster progresses.

The Eurozone project is done … it was a dream that’s turned into a nightmare within a nightmare and is only being sustained by self interested economic technocrats.

Those that flick, have a fleeting glimpse, a quick look, partial gaze or only read the dust cover ought to read the whole thing perhaps – how’s that for a scientific, consider everything approach?

    – Bruised clock weights resulting from stem interface.
    – Shoulder subluxation (left)
    – Full anterior shoulder dislocation (right)
    – Numerous cuts & scrages (as we say in Brizzle)
    – Snapped Achilles – I’m sure that cycling shortened or did something to my tendon, which then gave up the ghost playing 5-A-Side footie.

All directly attributable to more enthusiasm than skill.
