I would of thought its repairable, it’s in the centre 3/4’s, they normally buzz the area with a pneumatic sander and apply glue. Surely any latex will be removed by this process..

I’m glad he sent me the photo card as that was the main reason I never sent the money transfer.

I’m running a slx shifter with a ks dropper with no problem.
I took off the shifter backplate and took a mini angle grinder tot he ratchet.
It was a bit of a faff but I love it and it no longer gets blocked up like the original remote.

Currently running the Dmr v12 and grip is great but already damaged the threads inserts on 2 pins after rock strikes.
Will be going back to Nano’s next which took loads of abuse over 3 years.

As an ADI my advice would be the same as Simmy’s.
With a popular instructor you’ll probably have yo go on a waiting list.
Never pay upfront until you know you get on and have a lesson every week.
Simmy – loved the new grading system 🙂

As a driving instructor my clutches get well tested.
Peugoet 206 = lasted 400000 fortunately just after I traded it in
Ford Fiesta tdci = lasted 730000
Vauxhall Corsage cdti = lasted 740000
Toyota Yaris diesel = currently on 123000 and getting heavy but working well.

So the Dmf is definitely an improvemt but just expensive when they go:)

Got the snakeskin version from the Germans for £35 posted. Got it on the front and the grip is amazing.
Would drag on the back end but it lets me take new lines on the downs compared to my old Nobby Nics.
Being self employed the extra grip is important to me:)
    Very happy with M/M

Cost me £35 for both post mounts to be helicoiled at a local engineering company. LBS wouldn’t touch them, they wanted to sell me new lowers.
The engineer said that they should be done when manufacturered.

I agree with mtbtom, larger grips really helped me too, I don’t have large hands but I get little or no fatigue in my handsome forearms anymore:)
    I’m not young either..

I have a remote for a dropzone, it needs a cable stop at the saddle end that I’ve just enquired about at leisure lakes. Waiting for a response with regards a price.
It’s in great condition but you would need inner and outer gear cable.

Just changed my cable and the improvement is very noticeable.
Also bodged a front mech shifter for the remote after ks remote got clogged up at BPW. Works great!
Now for the inner tube mudguard 🙂
