The Stable Farm in a small town called “Pant”

its about 20 minutes from bpw. They have a cottage that you’ll pay about £27 each including a fantastic breakfast.

Its basic, sleeps about 7 people, bike can be bought into the cottage and cctv covers the cars. Great value.

    Marston pub across the road:)

My local Specialized dealer charged me £12 to do the 4 blind bearings on my Enduro.

Next time I will not be bothering doing the rest myself.

Thank you for all your advise, it was 2 worn cogs. Great forum😃

Do you need an 11 speed chain whip?

Just wondering if an old one can damage newer cassette’s?

    deano8

It only does it in gear 6 and 7. Probably a worn cassette?

Ill put the other rear wheel on and check again.

Chain has been on for a while, worked ok before so I think the length is ok.

will check chain wear, twisted links and lube it

    No cadence sensor.

it just seems to coenside with the position of the chain ring

Thanks for your replies and. Take guide 🙂
I’ll try to find the actual model number of the shifters and use the guide
Rode a mates bike with 105 calipers and the difference was night and day..

Plus one for tyre pressure but another factor are your bar grips. I use Raceface Straefe grips which made a massive difference for me or foam grips??
    Just an idea:)

Are we talking about the Squirrel Run?
If so I realised mid air that it’s grown, must walk runs over first:)

I guess if you don’t quite get it to the bottom to pick it pops up to the first position above where you let go of the bar lever?

Came from a 34 and went for 30 oval.
So far I don’t regret it. Climbing is far easier and I’m able to keep up with mates uphill on their bikes that came with 30 tooth round rings.
If it’s only used for off road you should be fine. I spin out at 26 mph on a flat road although it’s rare for me to be on road.

Thanks for reply, this is annoying, as mine was supplied on an enduro, thought it looked different!!
I wonder if it can be upgraded in the future??

It’s just the opinion of absolute black cynic-al, it’s worth a try if it might make me feel 10 years younger 🙂

Thank you for your input so far,
I run a full suss 650b Enduro and ride all over the place. Entered Tweed Love in June.
My friends use mainly 30 tooth round rings and jut have an easy life on the ups compared to me as I’m no quicker but have to put in more effort on prolonged climbs.
As I said maxing out in top gear isn’t the main issue as it’s plenty fast enough even at bpw when the trail opens out.

    It’s a 2015 Specialized Enduro 650b
It only has one replaceable bushing and I wondered whether I’d notice the small amount it would reduce the head angle?

Are these the ones with the sliding hammer?
Tracey, am I right in thinking a bearing punch can remove all bearings except the blind chainstay ones on Specialized bikes?

Went from X1 175mm to X0 170mm carbon cranks, they feel stiffer but it may just be because they’re shorter??
    Certainly look better 🙂

gkeeffe – what did you ask for that was different from a normal service?

Thanks for all your input, I’m just worried about reliability issues even with the updated internals.
A friends cotic rocket shock had to be sent back after only 4 weeks of riding:(
Anyone had problems with the coil version?

    deano8

Tracey, needs a service I believe. Out of warranty.
Cyclelife – it would be £200 to convert it to coil not to buy another one.
Are coil shocks easier on your joints over rough stuff?
