Are you positive you don’t want a Springer. This is our 11 month old (spayed 3 weeks ago) but the happiest face in the world

Except when she wants to go out and play and I am working on my computer/posting stuff on STW.

Price depends whether they are prepared to shin up a ladder with a bloke at the bottom and ignore working height regulations or they have a mate with a scaffolding company. You pays your money and takes your choice….

Agree with all the comments. Was far better than expected but still feel like you wander around with your wallet open and everyone helps themselves! Cant get a decent coffee in the place – nescafe sh1te.
Actually found the French not too bad at queuing it was the Spanish who pushed and shoved their kids to the front. Taught the kids how to shove back!

How about one for the drunken munchies…….2am Saturday morning……..”Doner Kebab and chips Pie” . It would make sense and be irresistible but only after a skinful.

    [/quote]Talking a practical[ish] (car type, not pickup) 4×4 for mild off-road use.

Currently have a Kia Sorento (yep zero street cred). However tows like a dream, good in snow and light mud. Cheap: 8k will get you 65k and 5-6yrs old with leather, AC etc. Downsides: no image, sh1te consumption – 30ish on 2.4 oil burner auto but then it is the lardy side of 2 tonnes, never going to compete with proper landrovers off road . Upsides: very stable towing 24 ft 1.5 tonne caravan at 60 past artics, very reliable and lots of kit for the money.

Love it, You need to get profile to 100% before it is any use and get your keywords appropriate to what you want.
It found me two contracts lasting 15 months total and then a perm role so works for me. Lots of Webinars for free explaining how it works so worth doing well.

In defence of John Inverdale…met him in person 3 years ago when he was hosting a corporate conference for us. Charming, down to earth and not a prima donna. Told some very funny tales as part of his routine and then was happy to tell the unPC ones in the bar afterwards. Top guy. Most celebs are complete w@nk3rs off screen and expect 5star service, John was happy to get his own tea

They are as big as you are allowed. have been stopped a couple of times when boarding and the staff looked surprised when it fits in the sizing cages. You can also unzip it to make it larger and check it in.
Wheels are silent and replaceable – had to landfill by last antler as the wheels locked and they dont do replacements.
Had it a year, done 20+ short haul trips, not much sign of wear

+1 for breed specific rehoming. You can focus on a breed you like and also they tend to be families in crisis who have taken good care and are well adjusted.
Also you could try ‘The Field’ http://www.shootinguk.co.uk/marketplace/directory/3772/4008 . They have a selection of fully trained dogs! They will cost more but if you add up the grief, training, chewing and stuff its a good idea. We have a 10 month springer and had I thought of it I would have got a fully trained one!

Also take photos of your luggage before you check it in, both the contents and outside. Having lost a luggage before an accurate description of the case, proof of what was in it helps when you get to the insurance stage (hopefully never).

Never request a special meal. It is a guarantee that you will NEVER get upgraded. Airlines only carry ‘special’ meals that have been pre-ordered so if you were suitable for upgrade then they would pick someone less fussy.
