If you are really worried about the smell from her clutch then you should book her in for a service or fault diagnosis.
I am sure the grease monkey will enjoy the test drive – he will of course drive it like he stole it and it will be returned to you equally smelly.
The smell could also be a contaminated clutch, could the clutch have come into contact with foreign fluids or objects? In which case you may be looking a big repair bill to clean it up. With big mechanical jobs though sometimes it is quicker and easier to replace than repair!

I think this is an upgrade problem: I suspect the OP upgraded his version of GirlFriend to GirlFriendPlus 1.0, which is a Terminate and Stay Resident version of GirlFriend. He then discovered that GirlFriendPlus 1.0 expires within a year if you don’t upgrade to Fiancee 1.0. But soon after that, he had to upgrade to Wife 1.0, which is as well all know a “huge resource hog”. Hence the OPs problems its a resource allocation issue. It has has now taken up all of his bandwidth, so he can’t run anything else. One of the primary reasons that he upgraded to Wife 1.0 is that it came bundled with FreeSexPlus 1.0.
Well it turns out that the resource allocation module of Wife 1.0 often prohibits access to FreeSexPlus, particularly the new
Plug-Ins he wanted to try, again all those suggestions to try different ports may be causing the problem. On top of that, Wife 1.0 must be running on a well warmed-up system before he can do anything.
Wife 1.0 came bundled with MotherInLaw 1.0 which has an automatic pop-up feature that he can’t turn off. Some of you have suugested variations of installing Mistress 1.0, but if you try to run it without first uninstalling Wife 1.0, Wife 1.0 will delete MSMoney files before doing the uninstall itself. Then Mistress 1.0 won’t install anyway due to insufficient resources.

+1 for the Jazz! Check out the forum club jazz!
Chain cam engine, driven by old ladies, much larger inside than you think, surprisingly fun to drive. Just bought a 1.4 with air con. Great car.

    Aged 44
Had Ankylosing Spondylitis (an auto immune inflammtory arthritis of the spine ) NASS websitesince aged 23. On all sorts of heavy duty meds (injections etc) but feel much better on them than not. Apart from not knowing the long term side effects of these I would much rather lead a semi normal life with an unknown risk than a miserable existence without them.
The usual tally of broken wrist, numerous stitches, snapped tendon in my hand repaired with graft from my arm, stiff neck leading to frequent migranes I am actually OK! I still ride both on and off road, walk the dog and play squash badly.
    Healing vibes to those suffering!

Thanks for all the input and the humour! It is clear that there is no way we can legally employ the USA girl (£10k fine). We are now looking at UK, Spanish and thanks to the collective wisdom of STW: Sweden!
There are some UK nationals who are prepared to work and we would take them in prefence and a sense of loyality if not Sweden next. Will update (with pics) of course when we hire!

We got a caravan 3 years ago after waking up freezing in the Cotswolds in April and got fed up of having to go to bed early and in all the clothes that we brought with us.
Either buy a retirees caravan with all the bits…..check gumtree or local ads you might get a bargain. Or go to your local dealer. Our first one cost 3k but had insurance backed guarantee. You will never look back!

+1 this is way too cheap. Agree you should double your hours and add contingency. You will still be way cheaper than the other options.
    Good luck

Had one done as an emegency on a business trip to The Netherlands a year ago. Flew over and then on the descent got the mother of all pain in upper molar and pain radiating up into sinus up towards my eye.
Was in bits, arrived at company for a meeting had a nose bleed with so much pain.
Initial injection and then very boring. Sorted pain out. Went back to UK dentist a few weeks later and Dutch dentist had done a great job.
    Good luck

I had a summer job at Portbury docks near Portishead and Bristol. The job was driving brand new hondas (this was 19 years ago) when the dockers had unloaded them from the boat and we would then go and park them return to the office and then pick cars and line them up for car transporters to take to dealers.
The dodgy bit is that all cars were treated as race cars, revved to max from cold, clutch dropped, wheel spinned and maxxed all the way from A to B. Two guys were fired when racing the guy in front thought it would be a laugh to slam on the brakes. Cue rear end smash and front of one car totalled. Both guys dismissed.
We got to drive the honda legends (brilliant in the summer; ice cold air con and decent radio). Favourites were the first generation preludes with 2.2 engines.
It was always slightly amusing to imagine the typical retired owner lovingly running the engine in for 2000 miles when the first 12 ‘delivery’ miles had been with the engine bouncing off the rev limiter.

1 in 27 years. Approx 10-12k per year so in excess of 250k! 97 on m40 in a work rover 216i. Surprisingly fun car, revvy engine and made of tin foil.
Stopped once in Kent (again in a company car) averaged 96 over 4 miles! for some reason I got let off. Was very contrite and didnt argue so maybe that’s it.
    Must be careful now!!

Have used flash leds front and back for the last 2 years on my road bike. In sunny conditions when drivers where dark glasses the contrast between shade near buildings and under trees can mean a massive dark hole in which to disappear.
A flashing light removes all doubt as to fact you are there especially on country roads. That and not hugging the kerb so that drivers can just try and squeeze past removing one of your body parts with their wing mirror as they merrily go on their way.

    +1 elzorillo.
After touring Scotland a couple of years ago in a rented coachbuilt the other half refused to go camping ever! We looked at motorhomes in a similar budget to you and came to the conclusion that we were better off with a caravan.
For that sort of money you can buy one will all the kit from someone privately or one with a guarantee from a dealer.
We spent two weeks in cornwall including 2 days of complete washout this summer; warm, dry and plenty of space. The caravan is stored 3 miles away in secure storage which reduces the insurance by virtually the same amount that it costs.

Hitched from Brussels to La Rochelle in 3 lifts! 800kms and did it in a day.
Also hitched in the UK. Always had a least shirt and tie. Always carry a marker pen. IMO if you are clear where you want to go people more likely to stop.
Best hitch: Bristol to Oxford in Jaguar (old school), dropped me at me door.
Wonder if I can hitch with the wife, 2 kids and our springer?
