For more than £1k in damage, you need to contact your own insurance and let them sort it!

Have bought a number of vehicles on eBay. Principle is to assume that the vehicle doesnt exist until proven otherwise, seller is a crook until proven otherwise (or dealer pretending to be private seller) and the car has hidden/disguised faults until proven otherwise/ Lots of clues above (use google reverse search to check whether the photos have ‘borrowed’ from another car, HPI or similar before you view then check the VIN & engines nos versus V5C etc etc.

Would never sell through eBay again, I use Autotrader for the past 3 cars and motorhome and moped. Seems attract less tyre kickers and would take (-£1000) less than you have advertised types.

There are great cars out there, but it really is buyer beware!

With the benefit of 20/20 hindsight………Apple Airtag attached the saddle would at least give a rough idea of its whereabouts!

Use a face app to combine two directors faces (senior or well known people in the company) and post the result. Trying to work out the virtual ‘love children’ of ‘couples’ of all sexes gets quite wierd but fun. Hopefully you can do it without being fired!
IF that is too risky (shame on you) just use celebs…Boris and any female (oh no he’s trying that in real life)

Another vote for Contigo Autoseal. About 3 years old. Put both base and lid in the dishwasher. Took about a year for all the colour coating to come off the base. Now a cool matt stainless look. Leak proof and also has auto-reheat built in!

+1 get it checked out…private sports physio.
Tore mine skiing, ski stopped in very slushy conditions, I didnt!
Almost passed out when physio put her thumb in the tear, but treated with RICE, ultrasound and then physio. Took 9 months before I could run off road on it, still have an odd lump. But have full range of movement and equal strength.

So, are we all heading over to Snowheads and liven up that thread that was either reposted or ‘copied’ as the generalist alleges?

Top tip: when getting final purchase authorisation from your other half, present him/her/etc with two options, the one you really want (65″) and the size bigger (75″). Earnestly ask for their opinion, and graciously concede that they know best and the smaller one is best choice. Walk away and allow yourself a little victory smirk!

Well that was predictably crap! Got to the front of the queue! No tests in anywhere under 90 minutes drive from here! Will try the deja vu show on Monday when more will be released!
Frustrated, not for me, but for my daughter just about to do her second year ‘A’ levels whose year has quite frankly been crap!

Me thinks there is a pre-queue….
Opened the browswer at 0745 and just left it and it went straight into the queue at 22,000 when it ticked over to 0800. Its now down to 15,840 so about 6000 an hour based on the current run rate. If I am lucky at about 11AM when I am supposed to be leading a Webex to the whole company!

Now sub 20k, all of the local and not too far centres, Reading, High Wycombe, Farnborough, Slough are all showing limited availability…..I suspect that once I get to the front of the queue there will be nothing left wihin an hours drive! Where are the 7,000 …oh must be in Aberystwyth!

You can check current (updated every 30mins) centre availability here test centre availibility

Currently at 60,515! Started at 8.15 at 72,312, its now just past midday!
Back of the queue (on another browser) is 213,632!
Worryingly the link to where centres have availability shows many centres fully booked

    Autotrader every time.
Just sold a Mercedes E350 with 160k on the clock during lockdown for more than I was hoping. The secret. Clean the car, 20 photos inc closeups of imperfecttions, list every stratch, stone chip, scruff so they have nothing to knock down when the get there. I paid £80 for the listing with 20 large photos and unlimited time and revisions. Only a couple of chancers, aurotrader hide your number and flag its a call from them when you answer. Had lots of interest and a guy drove down from Lincoln to Reading with his wife and bought it. BACS into my account, complete V5C online and instant email confirmation. YMMV.

So here’s my story to add to the weirdness. Yesterday an Amazon parcel arrived, no packing note but was in my name and address on it. It contained a 3 pack of exfoliating foot masks, a phone case for Samsung phone, magnetic false eyelashes and a dark spot cover up cream! I immediately contacted Amazon chat and they confirmed that this was not ordered through my account, no charge had been made to me and that I was free to dispose , use or gift the items as I saw fit! Needless to say I changed my password and two factor authentication worked well asking for text confirmation before it would allow PW change. Most of these items are listed at over £10 on the website and cannot figure out why this will be sent to me or how someone is profiting from this?

Years ago got the coach from Oxford to Heathrow and sat next to an oldish non-discript guy.
He started talking to me, asking what I did and where i was going. So I responded and what do you do?
He said wrote for TV. Turned about to be Colin Dexter who wrote Inspector Morse which was huge at the time.

Yes, totally possible. You just need to cantilever the steel beams and anchor into the other walls.
Just expect the cost to be at least triple have a pillar!
