I watched the Wales England game as the only Welsh person in a little country rugby club in Devon, and after the game all the english bought me drinks and congratulated me. All they could talk of was how brilliant the Wales comeback was. I find it hard to hate people who have such good manners.

It matters less to me now, we have beaten England enough times in living memory that I prefer to enjoy the contest and the banter. Australia are the best team in the tournament based on the games I’ve seen. Only NZ come close and they were very sloppy in the two games I’ve seen them play.

Never mind the england game, that team has quality running through it, rugby champ winners, recent beating of NZ and they’ll be feeling pretty good with the beating of england and wales and a pretty decent route through to the final.

Its true the breakdown perfomance was great at producing turnovers but I thought the rest of it just looked good because England were so lost. I was fine with the discussion up until the point that the citing comissioner made his decision, after that it’s pointless to discuss further. This isn’t football you know, arguing with the ref is not an option. 8)
Anyway it is obviously not deliberate, everyone who isn’t welsh and many welsh agrees on that. Yes possibly the rules need to be revised to place more responsibility on the player, along with many other parts of the game, but I think most agree on that too.

Pardon me for trying to discuss rugby on a rugby thread. Maybe its just co incidence that the last two England Wales games have seen welsh players knocked out by englands forwards missing the ball and getting heads.

You know I am a Welsh girl, born in Swansea, grew up in Abergavenny and Cowbridge, and always support Wales, my brother played for Bridgend and Swansea. With an English Dad and English husband I am very happy to support England when they are playing anyone else but Wales.
