I had one on my bdman for over a year and it was mint. I just got one for my reign. Mine just come with the same lever as my old one did should it have been different ? Not that I have a problem with the older one.

My Lidl pump gets my homemade 2 litre coke bottle air shot up to pressure . It also puts over 100psi in road bike tyres. They only a fiver I’ve used it for years.

Was all set to go this morning but took the hound for a walk at 6am and changed my mind. The ice was lethal I struggled to stop the dog pulling me over. I can’t afford any sick time sobthouhht better if it.

I used to get cramp all the time. Never had it since I’ve been using high5 hydration tabs. I’ve been using some cheaper ones from homebargains which seem ok but don’t taste as strong.

I’ve got a garmin 1000 and it’s been brilliant. I did fancy a wahoo elmnt but the fact the garmin could connect to my tacx sold it for me.
I think the wahoo can connect now aswell.

I’ve heard of hydrolocking the forks but never done it. Did they change the damper in 2016/2017 or is my 2015 forks the same ? .

    It did mate.
I just downloaded the 2015 manual . The 2017 is 10 and 10. I just assumed that they had changed something in the fork. I’m going to put a bit more in .

The 2015 manual states 5 and 15. In my 2017 pikes it is 10 and 10. I don’t know if the fork internals are the same and RS just changed their minds ? I’m gone put a few more Ml in I think.
Most of 5 ml will hopefully stuck to the lowers.

Do you think 5ml is enough to live the bushings in the lower leg ?

    Realy ?

I would happily carry the extra 20 grams for 30ml if extra lube.
Is that realy why ? If so I’ll pop a bit more in.

I rarely use them but I find a drop bar much better for long distance rides.
I have chicken levers on my cx so I can brake on the tops if I need too.

But even with collection only it alwasys seems to make you pay with PayPal if you use bin.
I remember a bloke from eBay was on tv advising you not to accept PayPal if collection only but it always makes use it.

I’ve just sold a bike for £800 on fleabay. I used paisley but paid the extra 50 for insurance.
I wouldn’t have posted it to a zero feedback seller though. I auto cancel sale if they have below 10 unless the contact me first.
This suited me as I wanted the money paid straight into PayPal.
If they have a confirmed PayPal addy you should be ok but make sure you pay the insurance.

Mine must be an A2 no gold writing.
Thanks for all the help lads but just ordered another Brand x post. I couldn’t find the basic service kit for sale anywhere i would also have to buy bleed kit as don’t like borrowing all the time also new shock pump as mine doesn’t fit . I might hang on to it and fix it at my Leasure or might sell it on fleabay for spares repair.

    Hi mate.
Thanks for reply. I’ve pumped it up to 250 and it works fine apart from from 20mm sag. I will get the service kit but seems sold out most places. Do you know how I tell what model I have I.e. A1 etc. Its a stealth that come on a 2016 reign 1.
    Cheers

Just an update. I did a bit reading and tried one of the suggestions.
I let the air out of the post which allowed me to fully extend it.
I then bled remote and post.
Turns out my shock pump is too fat at the end to reach the valve (typical).
I used my lezyne mini track pump and fit 130psi in the post.
It now drops and returns but still drops around 40mm when pressed on. I am going to see if I can borrow a track pump that fits to put the 250psi in and try it.
If it works do you think that the basic service kit will sort it?

    How reliable are the reverb?
This is my first one and it come on a used bike. I had no trouble with a brand x on my previous bike so am tempted to get another but if the reverb are generally reliable I will repair it.

Cheers mate. I can handle that lol. Also just seen you can get the full service done for 39 on eBay. That’s cheaper than the parts. However I like taking stuff to bits 😀😀😀

This new to me bike is going to end up like triggers brush lol

Haha seems strange that mine went while I was washing it as if the hose caused it but don’t think it did. Unless it was because it was freezing cold and the water made it colder and caused something to contract.

Just looked at the price of the service kits. Seem a bit expensive think I would rather just buy a new brand and change it if it breaks :-)

Well I had my first ride out on it tonight just did 12 miles XC.
It doesn’t feel quite as long as my Boardman but that was a large and this is a medium. I’d say it climbs no worse than the Boardman and I was able to get up some climbs that I couldn’t before. Probs new bike syndrome 😆.
I haven’t set the suspension properly yet as it was too dark to mess around with a shock pump.
The bars do wander more with the slacker head angle but I’m sure I will adjust. The front end also feels a lot more planted I.e. harder to wheely.
Quite happy with it and only had the shock and fork in open position.

Cheers lads. I’ll just order the kit off amazon then. I’ll get the service kit, ifp adapter and oil for same price as service kit. Same part number Aswell. It shocks me how much some orings can cost.

I have an Anthem and they are lovely bikes. Mine is a 2015 plenty capable and good for long rides. I don’t have a lockout but it isn’t needed with the maestro suspension anyway imho.

Hi mate thanks for the reply . I haven’t the money at the min to send it off sovwas hoping to do it myself. I don’t mind rebuilding the shock as long as I know it will sort the lsc damping.
I think it might just be something wrong with the valve the the lever connects too as medium setting still works.

I will just ride it first too see as I haven’t had a go of the bike yet. I never use any lsc on my other bikes so may not need it. I will probs buy another shock off eBay when I get paid and service this one at my leisure .
Was hoping someone might know how the lsc lever works.

Just a quick bump. Does anyone have an idea plz? Just don’t want to spend 50 notes on a service kit if it’s not going to fix lock out.

    Cheers for the replies lads.
I ended up buying one 😀.
I got a 2016 reign 1. I wanted the non boost as going to put my good wheels on and couldn’t be bothered with the adapters or redishing.
But bit of a quandary now lol don’t know if I should sell my anthem or my Boardman or both?
Going to put a few miles on the reign on Sunday to see what it’s like and might just keep 2 pairs of wheels instead of the other bikes.

Good idea on the shin pads cheers. I put my 661 elbow pads on his shins when I had him out. Going to ring easy rider and see what pedals are available but do want grippy. The current ones are now pretty grippy as I dremmeled them but not very big.

I can’t speak for the 2017 anthem but I’ve had a 2015 anthem 3 from new. Excellent bikes mines a bit heavy though but I’m no lightweight. I would personally sell the dropper from new if it’s a giant switch and buy a brand x instead.
