My son is trying to get into this at the moment, he’s just finishing a 3 year college course on games development & from what he’s said it’s a foot in the door sort of thing, I do tend to switch off though as he can talk endlessly about games, glitches etc. I find it very odd with them coming to the house for an interview.

a bit nasty this, but as far as I’m aware the puppy should have been fit for purpose if she’s a dealer, same as anything else you buy. threaten to take it back with the vet bills or see her in small claims court if the papers/ a mutual agreement has been arranged

    Robin Reliant money

springs to mind for some reason 🙄

in my experience, what you’re looking for is out there, it’ll just take a very long time to find.

normally better quality than a built in webcam & help bring the price of the laptop down. My brother owns an IT company & deals in ex corporate machines, normally have minimal use & are really good spec although look a bit “dull” (plain black)IBM, dells etc. I could ask him if he has anything if you’d like?

Why do you need to be motivated? IMO, they don’t care about you, why should you care? I went through this myself a few years ago, a combination of lots of job interviews (which they have to allow & still pay you for) & a sudden knee injury was all the motivation I needed. Spent 2 weeks in the Canaries recovering 😀

    SOD THEM!!!!

Go 2nd hand, you’ll get a much better machine, do you need something with a webcam for skype or would a plug in webcam suit?

Sorry, but after working in both main dealer & independants, I’d go for the independant service history every time, they rely on repeat business, in general main dealers have a captive customer base & care less, get them in & out ASAP attitude, that’s why they have time allowances for every job they do. Independants want them done right, one independant I worked at used to go as far as removing all the breather pipes to clean them inside.

My car has to go to a main stealer now, it came back a few weeks ago with the brakes still binding, even though I’d asked them to fix it while it was there, it was VERY obvious they needed looking at & the aerial missing (collect & drop off service)

I’ve had several large twin axle vans, just go over it like you would a car, double check everything, push every switch, check inside the cupboards & the ceiling for damp. A spongy floor is a good bargaining point, I found with the last 2 I had, the floor was spongy, but this was down to there not being enough supports on the alko chassis for the span of floor, a bit of 3×4 fixed it 😀 weight wasn’t an issue as they were always permanently sited.

And since when did long hair become a good accessory for catching bad people with. They’ve all got ponytails or mullets. Trust me, if I was a fugative and they all turned up, and I had to fight… I’d be grabbing myself some hair.

You wouldn’t have to fight, just throw a hairdryer into the middle of the room & run off while they all fight over who gets to use it first

horrible car IMO, I had one as a courtesy car a couple of months ago while my car was being serviced, tiny inside, ride was uncomfortable, tinny.

It’ll be night & day compared to your Zafira, but it’ll do what you want it to do.

Can you book a test drive? I had a 24 hour test drive from Nissan before I ordered our car.

The racks in the pic look like my cheapo halfords set, which are exactly the same as my freeride 530’s is there much difference between the two?

We go to Cartagena to visit family quite a bit, it’s about 20 minutes away, never taken my bike though, but while exploring the area there looks like loads of places to go riding, just get out & explore. I’ve just sent my father in law an email to ask him about routes etc, as a few of his neighbours go out for the day into the mountains.

Generally, what are you looking to do out there? The Mar Menor is a cracking beach for kids, if you have any, it’s man made & you can paddle out as far as you like & never get out of your depth, a few nice bars & restaurants there to. Around an hours drive to Benidorm, if you fancy that kind of thing.

you don’t pick a line, just go whichever way your backside takes you & hope the bike doesn’t catch up 🙂

Have you checked the print queue?

on win 7 go to start > devices & printers > right click on your printer, select “see what’s printing” cancel anything in there

no receipt, no proof he was there, you’ll have to take it out of the money you saved by having it done on the side

surely it was the plumber who defrauded the tax man by saying he would do it off the books and cheaper???

you really do want your cake & to eat it don’t you? It’s people like you that stop me doing favours due to the comebacks, I regularly get asked to look at this or that in my job, which I used to be happy to do, for free, but in the past someone complained to my boss about the time it took for me to carry out this “favour” so now I don’t bother. Luckily my boss saw it for what it was & wasn’t to worried about it, but it could have been much worse.

You both got something out of it, time to bite the bullet & take it for what it is.

I went flying on the overflow car park at birches valley this morning; it was totally covered in lumpy ice, my wheels were going sideways more than they were forwards! Bonkers it was, and I bet it’s worse now…

sounds like me yesterday in Sutton park, I’d like to thank the lads I overtook on my arse for not laughing at me…………………… at least until I was out of earshot 😳

paypal are a law unto themselves, stealing money from your account when a buyer hasn’t received there item, despite providing proof that they signed for it.

I agree from a buyers POV it’s not good, but if it did happen a quick mail to the buyer offering a refund, if it’s available or letting them know you’re not willing to post the item until the money has cleared into your account (as per the advert details) should put things straight.

TBH though I think you’re worrying about nothing as mentioned I’ve never actually had this problem & don’t know of anyone personally that has. There’s always a first time though

hmm never seen that before, never looked for it though to be honest, a line along the lines of “item will be posted once payment has cleared into my account” should do it, add it to the payment details to, it then becomes part of the contract/requirements of sale

gotta agree, tell him to sling it, he bought a cheap 2nd hand car & for all you know he did it himself, not your mum getting it of the garage.

Yes you can make anything you like (within reason) a term of the sale, mine include payment within 2 days or item won’t be sold to them, I’ve sold plenty of things over £50 & never had payment withheld until feedback is left, what happens if the buyer doesn’t leave feedback? It’s my money & I want it before I send anything simple as that. You can’t nip into curry’s & say I’m just taking this to see if I like it & I’ll pay when I feel like it.

You could just sell it cash on collection, I’ve done this a few times & the price has never been affected to much.

I never send anything until the payment has cleared into my account, I read somewhere that paypal hade done that, but I’ve no personal experience of this & I’ve sold literally 1000’s of things on eBay.

You get decent money on ebay but there charges are quite high & apart from a few idiots I’ve never had any real problems.

I always use parcel2go.com for anything to large to pop to the post office with, normally cheaper than royal mail & they collect it from you to, bonus!!!
