We can have 2 separate rooms with no guarantee they’ll be together or choose other accomodation.
As far as I can see they’ve tried to put it right, as has already been said, unless there’s a reason for the same room I think you’ve made a mistake, why on earth would you want to stay in the same room as a 15 year old lad & why would he want to spend it in the same room as his parents? My 12 year old daughter has her own room when we go away, albeit it next door & our 12 year old niece comes along so there are 2 of them together, at 15 I wouldn’t have a problem letting her have a room elsewhere in the same hotel.
dazzFree MemberThere is a hidden “kindle” folder on the nexus, the books need to be put in there, I can’t remember off the top of my head where it is though & my nexus is at home.
dazzFree Membertight as a ducks #### me :D, I’ve still got a few bags with 40 odd in each, in various sizes that I’ll never use again
dazzFree MemberI just use a length of pipe with a small “V” cut out, this lets the tube squeeze into the bleed hole, never had a spill yet.

I had a buyer pay via paypal for a bike once
Risky doing that together with a collection. They could claim non-delivery and reverse the transaction, and you’ve no proof of sale.
That’s why I do cash on collection.
dazzFree MemberI’ve asked for cash on collection in the past, if it’s something they’re collecting they might as well bring the money, as already mentioned it saves the tax they call paypal fees. I had a buyer pay via paypal for a bike once, so I just asked them if they’d mind bringing cash on collection & refunded the payment, to be honest I always pay cash if it’s something I’m collecting, you have the chance to inspect whatever it is you’re buying so it seems fair to me.
Check their history of you’re worried, just keep your wits about you if you’re going to collect.
dazzFree MemberI had an Octavia estate, it was great. You can have a flange type towbar fitted to most cars, just check with the lease company about fitting them, the company we use just said as long as it was fitted by a proper company & E marked it was all good. The local Nissan dealer wanted £450 to fit fit a towbar when I ordered my car, but a local company came out & fitted it for around £200 & after chatting to the fitter, guess who fits all the towbars at my local Nissan dealer.

The idea of a camper van is you dont need a site
This,
I’ve never paid for a site in our camper, but as a first time introduction a site is a good idea to be honest, can’t help with a site I’m afraid, but the ukcampsite link above is a very good place to start
dazzFree Memberthey all generally take 33% of the payout, I claimed £3k back myself before Christmas & had it paid out within 6 weeks, at the same time the wife claimed for £250 through a company, still waiting for that.
There are loads of good guides on the internet with letter templates, they explain the process, if you go with a ppi company expect your phone to be ringing off the hook.
We did use a company called Hayward Marsh a while back, seemed OK, got the money for us, but if I had to do it again, I’d do it myself.

Sounds like the same scum r cumin back to u. Look at Asgard secure bike sheds there very good
This is the 1st time from home, had 2 stolen out the car 18 months ago in betws y coed & another while visiting friends.
They’ve lifted the concrete lintel above the door, so the door can be lifted enough to crawl under to get into the garage,
they’ve also taken my daughters Carrera detonate, standard apart from DMR pedals & juicy 3 brakes.
dazzFree Memberjust reply to the dispute saying send it back for a refund once its received, I’d bet he doesn’t send it back, I have this quite a bit when selling used hard drives, all tested & packed up well, they are received, then dispute is opened hoping you’ll say “I’ll send another one” always say the same thing, send it back for a refund, but they need to make sure it’s recorded delivery or you’ll never receive it
99% of the time ebay side with the buyer, so if you’re as helpful as possible & he doesn’t return it then they’ll side with you.
If it has been damaged in the post, you’ll have to try to claim from RM, good luck with that 🙂
dazzFree Memberdid he contact you before opening a dispute? best bet is to get him to send it back & refund when you’ve received it, ebay/paypal will only refund him if you don’t, keep everything polite as ebay can see the discussion

Of all the people to be giving a telling off to for RLJing, I never expected to have to bollock a police cyclist. Yesterday evening was an interesting commute home!I see quite a few kamikaze police cyclists in Birmingham city centre, they weave through the pedestrians & have no interest in slowing down, if you happen to be somewhere they’re aiming for, it gets very interesting
dazzFree MemberI take it on a case by case thing, When asked about a test drive I say thats fine, I’ll hold onto the money, if you damage it you’ve bought it
dazzFree MemberIf it fails the MOT & you don’t go directly to a repair centre, then technically you can’t drive it home legally
just saying is all 😀
dazzFree Memberwe went from a dvd player to a tablet too, much easier for mini me, no wires trailing round, no dvd’s to swap over & much easier to hide out the way when you do a mid journey stop, they have games on them as well, so once they’re bored of films it’s something else to do before they start with “are we there yet?”
dazzFree Memberyes, whenever it’s happened to me I’ve just changed the password & that’s put a stop to it, for 12 months or so anyway

Once the deal was
Made he drove away with my mates cash& you had the bike.
Sorry, but if you’ve actually met up & inspected the bike (or not) then handed over the cash IMO he nor his Dad have anything to answer to, perhaps he didn’t know there was any damage. If I’d have sold the bike & both parties were happy with it, that would be me finished, how does anyone know what you or your mate have done with the bike afterwards?
I’ve made mistakes buying stuff in the past & missed things I should have noticed, but as I’ve said that’s my mistake & I’ve just had to suck it up, not go back to the seller & ask for my money back, it’s a second hand/used sale.
dazzFree MemberHe shouldn’t have paid to have them repaired before contacting you, eBay wont refund him in full unless he can prove he’s sent them back & you’ve received them.
I sold a bike a few years ago on ebay, weeks later the chap mailed me to say a bolt was missing from the forks & LBS had replaced the forks, he told me he wanted to be refunded for the price of the forks & fitting, about 70% of the price he paid for the bike, I told him, he’d had the bike several weeks if the bolt was missing, it could have fell out while he was riding it & IMO there was no reason to replace the forks, just replace the bolt, anyhow, told him to go through ebay, when the case was opened I just offered a full refund if the bike was returned & to my amazement ebay sided with me, that’s the only time ever as a seller they’ve sided with me though.
dazzFree MemberHaving had both, I much prefer the folding camper, it’s easier to tow & store, the beds are always made up & it takes 10 minutes to set up for an overnight stop, 1/2 hour if staying longer & you want to use the awning, the only real downsides for me are a shorter camping season (we used to use the caravan all year round) & having to air it out when we get home if it’s been put away wet, but even that’s no big problem. We get around 42 mpg towing vs 46 ish without, but saying that you tend to travel slower when towing so that may add to the mpg 🙂
Our is kept outside all year & it’s never been an issue, some people bring in the cushions, mattresses etc, but we’ve never bothered, we are thinking of using some kind of gazeebo to put it under this year though.
we have one of these & love it.
dazzFree Memberfrom the outside my garage door has 1 small padlock at the bottom in the middle, inside I have a steel scaffold bar running along the top of the door, this sits inside u shaped brackets bolted to the wall, at the bottom I attach ratchet straps on each corner that go up to the roof supports & ratchet them up tight, there are also 2 bolts that just drop into holes drilled into the floor when the door is closed.
There was a run of garages being broken into by us where they’d just peel the corner of the door back, so this was my amateur response.
dazzFree MemberIf they want a fence tell them to put one up, if that hideous raised thing in the middle is half in your garden I’d be tempted to cut it down the middle 🙂 but then I’m not one for diplomacy if someone gets on my nerves
dazzFree Memberwho cares what the neighbours think? It’s your garden, I wouldn’t have even mentioned it to them because it’s such a non issue
dazzFree MemberI have one in the factory fit nissan unit, the sound is spot on, can see track names, can browse by folder name/artist/album etc it only scans through the stick when it’s been removed, otherwise it just continues playing the same way a cd would. I use a 16gb micro usb stick & it’s about 75% full
dazzFree Membernever go back to the same car, it’s older, more miles, scratched, dented & been abused & just wont feel the same
Bit like an ex girlfriend really
dazzFree MemberHow do you get 50 mpg? 90% of my drving is motorway with cruise control set to 63 ish & still only get around 40-43, hate the bloody thing, in fact this is the first car in a very long time that I’m replacing when it’s less than 3 years old
dazzFree Memberyou can have a towbar fitted by any proper towbar place & it wont effect your warranty, unless it can be proved the towbar electrics caused the problem, as someone else said there is normally a plug in newer cars where the towbar electrics plug in.
dazzFree Memberkeep away, I have a 2010 qashqai, had it from new, it’s the worst car I’ve ever owned, uncorfotable, rattly, useless on diesel, things fall off, come loose inside, it does just plod on though, I’ve done 50k in it with no mechanical issues, other than interior trim falling off, as mentioned before it’s terribly underpowered
dazzFree MemberI got pulled over around 12 years ago for having bikes on a rack & no light board, he tried to do me for obscuring my lights, I politely pointed out my wheels were spoked & the lights were clearly visible through them, so the git did me for obscuring the number plate instead. I remember him saying if I go through a speed check they wouldn’t be able to trace me, I thought that was worth the £30 fine 😀
dazzFree MemberI’ve still got 1 left £5 collected or £6 posted, mail in profile
