I’ve always found it easy to inflate any tyre/wheel tubeless combo, mind you i always use my diving bottles(300 bar).(Sits back smugly, laughing at the non diving bike riding masses.)

Was there yesterday,if its still as windy, the exposed section on the first clime might be a struggle on a ss.Take the full suss for the blacks, nice and sweepy with a few jumps, every one popped out onto the fire road with a grin.

I had a the same frame, buy yourself a bucket full of shock bushings,’cause you,ll be changing them pretty regularly.
Just remembered, buy some rearly short crank arms if you dont enjoy pedal strikes.Other than that great frame.

You’d have to be there a while with a petrol diamond disc grinder, and when you’re halfway through the chain the garage will fill with smoke

Just thought on sthyl saw with above mentioned disk is in the garage along side my secured bikes, have to do something about that.

From my experience,if you’r riding at the front,by the time the walkers/horse riders have time to vent there fury at you,you are long gone and the rider behind(John)has to offer the appolagies. So in conclusion the leader of the pack can ride any cheeky trail, with no consequences.

Just swop 1 ruinously expensive hobby(scuba diving which includes 1/2 share in a boat)for a much cheaper one(ellsworth epiphany and all the bling) then tell her how much money you’r saving.Easy.

I had a high side that dislocated my elbow, put that one down to the stupidly low bb on my stumpy, sold that frame, now on an epiphany and riding the same trail with out a second thought to the crash.Guess it’s a confidance thing in your bike and your ability

Had the same ‘its driving me f***ing crazy’pedaling creak that happened once every rotation, turned out to be a slightly loose drive side bb.Nipped it up ,now every thing is quiet and i’m slightly calmer.

Flip side you can go biking/spend money on biking(assuming she’s left you with any)any time you want with out the guilt trip being layed on you every time you buy a new frame/shifters/wheelset,etc etc

After much resurch(down the pub) i’ve com to the conclusion that its mainly the junctions between two materials ie carbon and ali that are the main points of failure and after talking to a guy who repairs wheelchairs, which often use the same materials,he has often found that there’s oxidisation on the ail surface that causes the bond to break. So my conclusion is stick to one material and all will be well in your world.
