You could lend the bike to some old/fat person who wears those “big” shoes with the velcro fastening, those bad boys would polish off the logos in no time.Job done with no effort from yourself.

Did one my self on an old gt frame for mrs daznal.I cut an old knackered frame up,fitted the old disc adapter to the brake caliper, put the back wheel with brake disk on on to the frame, clamped the caliper onto the disk(using the brake lever),this assured alignment then welded the bit off of the knackered frame to the seat stay of the gt.Easy

Go down to your local dumpit there are thousands of old frames there.

“Do you think you would be able to detect a 0.5 degree change in an angle? 1 degree? 2 degrees? 5 degrees? How large does a change need to be before you notice it?”

I’m talking about bikes with simular geomatry from different manufactures not ones with hugely different head angles

Mmmm the old yeti seat stay breaking trick.Best to consign it to the ever growing pile of broken rear yeti triangles, although to be fair its usualy the 575’s that give up the ghost.Go for the new frame

Mmm checked the spelling and punctuation, couldn’t find any thing to comment on there, not even a pic to pull apart.Only the fact that you’ve bought a bike that translates to “the peter” gives me any thing to smile about.
