I’m not sure it is a pain if you move with the technology. If we think that the tablets work hand in hand with clouds so that they don’t need internal memory, you can’t expect a tablet to function like a laptop.
A cloud is simply a hard drive in the sky that can be accessed from any device that allows you to enter with an account and password.
iPad saves to the cloud account, your laptop accesses from the cloud account..
Another option would be to upload to a Flickr account, you both have access, the other then downloads the original file (as you would with a cloud).

Ferry is waste of time.

Why is it a waste of time? It is exactly what it says on the cover, it’s a ferry from Liverpool to Birkenhead, were you disappointed because the cinema/pool/duty free shops were closed?
It’s a short boat ride that gives you a different view of the city and the area, it’s not going to rock your world, but then it doesn’t claim to.
It’s a great little city and there is plenty to do as others have said, Albert Dock, Cathedrals, the area around Wood St/Fleet St has lots of food places.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. There was a problem in Firefox but it worked fine in Chrome, it now works fine in Firefox even with ABP activated. It looks like Autotrader were doing some fiddling as the enlarged photo page has changed. I do wish these IT types would put up some kind of message.

Why waste time learning how to draw a break even analysis chart when you can just fill in the correct amounts in someone else’s spreadsheet from the internet?
Is that going to be less value in the real world?
Were people valued less because thet used scientific calculators rather than log tables in book form?

Why shouldn’t it be easier? We have access to so much more information at our fingertips that there is less of a need to remember or totally understand.
