I have the feather cx 1.1, Which will be similar, and I love it. Only had it a few weeks, so can’t say much more than that I’m afraid… So far only used it for commuting and a triathlon. Still trying to find a summer cx race near me I can try it out in !

why is discussing bike related stuff all about winning ?

you don’t have to belligerently fight to the death for your point to win

A Strava segment on the chain ferry ? words fail me…
But thanks for the suggestions, looks like there are enough interesting ideas for the next few years…
In wales for a long weekend with the family on the gower peninsula in a few weeks (so I can sneak off to BPW) so will look to the welsh suggestions next year…
Like the idea of Cornwall, not been down there for a few summers….
But then again east/west wittering could be a winner…

Put down about 12 now, never glued any of them ( I did glue the bits near the sinks ). The entire ground floor of our current house was done 7 years ago, no issues. You can put cork round the edge if you want, it i didn’t bother with that either on the last 5 or 6…

We’ll be doing this again :-) Great fun…
Do hope the weather is better than last year.
Still remember that poor guy crashing near the end. We were camping track side, and saw someone coming flying down the start finish straight, obviously trying to get an extra lap in, and equally obviously did not see/remember the ruts, and came flying off near the line. All of us were up out of our seats to go and help, but several people nearer who had also seen the crash got to him much faster. He sat up quickly, but not not get up to walk away for a long time…

    No idea on access though…

Wyatt married Vince in 1981 when the two were reportedly penniless and traveling England while living on state benefits. The couple had one child while they were married, and Vince helped to support Wyatt’s other child from a previous relationship. The hippie-like couple divorced in 1992, still broke. After the divorce, Vince lived for a time in an old ambulance powered by a home-made wind turbine.

Yep, there is conflict on other ranges in the area (the TAG are working on this), but this is one where as far as I’m aware there is no conflict. There are regular races held on the land. Quite often talk to the squaddies on training to ask where to avoid to minimize further disruption. But if they are closing the barracks and there will be no squaddies to avoid ;-)

We hired a local gym club… they had all the fun stuff you could ever need.
And before any one says it, no injuries, but we did have to keep an permanent eye on the foam pit…

    Do you enjoy driving?
If Yes, then a Zafira isn’t the car for you.
If no, like quite a few people on here, and you consider a car a necessary evil to transport bikes and children around in then it’ll be fine.

    This…

I have one, its fine, but its a car. I say fine, just had to do the door locking/frayed wiring fix (A known problem). And the engine management unit had to be replaced under warranty, poor design on the first models… And the mass flywheel needed replacing at 80,000, along with the clutch.
However, now done 100,000 miles in it, carries bikes and we tow a trailer for camping holidays…

2, 10 years apart in lower spine*… Very good at allowing me to get on a do the strengthening work necessary to relieve the pain longer term. Only my stupidity and over confidence meant is was necessary the second time… But the second time I did get a nice x-ray of a huge needle somewhere in my lower back…

    * may not have been cortisone, but would have been something very similar.

I would definitely say not Troyes. There is a bit more to this story…
Don’t stop there for lunch, buy some champagne for when you get to your destination, and let the passengers who are supposed to be sharing the driving open the first bottle. Cos they then go on to open more, and as you are the muggins behind the wheel when the first one is opened, you cannot swap drivers, you arrive at your destination with no champagne, and no one to talk to as they NEED to get to bed… for 24 hours :-(

Loved the erlstoke 12 last year… Miles better than any of the Mayhems we have entered… Did the torq torq solo last year but that seemed like it would be great as a team event…

I bought the the Cambridge Minx for Christmas, and love it so far, basic controls, but sounds so much better than the telly… And we stream spotify to it happily via Bluetooth.
Built so the tv can stand on top….

Once took an early morning light to Zurich, then a train to somewhere like sargans or altdorf to do a two day reckie for the alpine pass route.
Back on a sunday night flight. Easy. Trains are very easy to plan…

    http://www.sbb.ch/en/home.html

And the alpine pass route when I did eventually walk it is great :-)
And we didn’t a night accommodation on any of the trips, there was always space at the inn… :-) And, yes, I did eat loads of Rosti… but that’s another thread…

I stopped I could just make out the shadow of a bloody great big tank taking up the whole fire road right in front of me. I would never have seen it and stopped in time.

Its alright, you would not have damaged it…
