Pressure washers great for cars/paths etc. The snowfoam isn’t really that effective however, its just a pre-wash and sometimes has very little impact on dirt.
A couple of times here a pair of JWs have called round, one is a hardened veteran woman in her ’60s trying to catch me out with clever questioning, the other is a hot tall young blonde wearing a slightly slutty mini skirt & tight fitting top who never speaks. This is clearly a tactic designed to get men to engage in conversation with them, as I am reminded of my early ’20s when the local JW family’s daughter would sleep with anyone for a drink. I wonder if they are all like that?
Just got rid of my 64 plate 2.0 dispatch as it was a complete bag of shite. Electrical faults, knocking noises, clutch failure (28k miles) radio faults, annoying self locking doors, need to run engine to listen to radio. Got a new connect LWB instead.
That Amoy soy sauce bottles now have a much larger orifice. ensuring that half the contents of the bottle are sloshed all over my takeaway in a split second, utter W@NXERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve got a 2 year old dispatch which I’ve looked after from new, it’s started falling apart now, clutch slipping at 28k, knocking noises, parts falling off, electrical problems. It’s put me right off getting another French van.
Electric is the way now. I can get my 7 year old son to walk for miles over the fells if he drives daddy’s axial trail truck while he’s doing it. Lipo batteries really are remarkable.
I have one which I use as a workshop. Theres no insulation but I use rubber mats where I stand in front of the bench, keeps the feet warm.
Obviously in the winter its pretty cold in there, so I use a small electric fan heater and that’s good enough.
Also I have a dehumidifier on a low setting and have no damp issues.
If you’re getting a concrete base laid, be sure to run plastic pipes for cabling etc through the concrete and you could also get them to sink ground anchors in whilst they are pouring it.
Stored pressure (pump up) extinguishers used to have schrader valves which you could pressurize yourself after unscrewing the top & filling with water or foam, hardly any do these days though. There are some sill around on ebay etc but you have to get a clear pic of the top to check if it has a Schrader or not. Most extinguishers are now pressurised through the actual operating valve using an adapter.
I’ve just got one of the 12v water pump kits from ebay (£20) and its really good, I use it for my trials motorbike mainly.

They fight ALL the time, its really putting a strain on the family, we have to do separate activities if we want a “normal” day out, they have ruined so many occasions its depressing, its really backfired having the second one.
Don’t assume if you have another that they’ll play together.
Some days I’m glad to see the back of ’em. The missus took them for a weeks uk break in the summer and to be honest it was heaven until they came back & started fighting.
That is all.
Sales people vary, but have had good experiences with them BUT….
As mentioned above, don’t let them touch your car, including cleaning or “polishing” it.
