Surely if you just leave the steps as they are, the problem will sort itself one way or another.

OP’s gone very quiet, maybe we can’t hear him from under the patio?

If that fails, administer a swift bitch-slap.
You need to start establishing a new hierarchy.

Ive been using gyeon wetcoat for the last year or so. You spray it on then pressure wash it off.  Gives 2 or 3 months protection but it takes literally 2 mins to apply so you can happily apply it more often as you wish.

Friend of mine went to a Liverpool home game & was hit on the head by a soup ladle. Can’t say you see that much these days.

We have two in nursery and I hope that when they start school the 1k monthly nursery fees won’t be absorbed on “other stuff. “ Surely not?

    You thought wrong x10.

I use the screwfix no nonsense degreaser diluted with two thirds water in a spray bottle, this is enough for chains/cassettes.

Soap & water for the rest of the bike.

    @postierich

when I lived in Kendal, there was 4 ex postmen who worked at my firm. Three of them were heavy drinkers (at least one was an alcoholic, we found cans in his van), the fourth one was teetotal, he used to tell me how great it was working for the post offiice, when I asked him why he left he said because virtually nobody made it to retirement because of the heavy drinking culture there , people just pegged out, every day it was in the pub for the remainder of the afternoon after your shift.

They do a good intelligent charger too, I use a lot of rechargeables & the charger looks after the batteries a lot better than a “dumb” charger.

Two of my friends have “downshifted” to become parts drivers for local motor factors, no targets, out & about but not too far. They enjoy it.

Me & the boy go rock crawling/trail driving with our axial scx10 deadbolt. Great fun to get down into a rocky stream & spend ages trying to pick a way through.

Those slopesoarers are amazing – but fixed-wing aircraft scare me. The only thing I’ve flown seriously is a bunch of Mikrokopter multi-rotor helicopters, with those if your head gets messed up you can just press a button and it’ll sit in one place in the sky until you get yourself sorted out. Can’t do that with a fixed-wing aircraft.

Yes you can, any model with “SAFE SELECT” has a panic button mode which instantly returns the aircraft to level flight.

I’m in bed right now with actual “real” flu, and highly unpleasant it is too.
One thing I wasn’t ready for is the vast over-production of saliva (a pint a day plus another at night) yes I measured. This effectively means next to no sleep as it takes about 60 seconds to fill up my mouth to the point where it needs emptying into a suitable receptacle. This is really difficult to contend with.

I learnt with a UMX RADIAN, its basically a small very light powered glider that’s quite difficult to crash, has a gyro built in to smooth it out.
It really taught me how to control an aircraft at a gentler pace so there wasn’t any terrifying moments of dumb-thumb hamfistedness that couldn’t be corrected as it gives you time to react.

Bought a new citroen dispatch. Drove it normally in a sensible fashion, pretty soon there was all sorts of damage to various components.

    Junkyard – lazarus

if you get a water extinguisher it already has a valve fitted

No new extinguishers have valves fitted, the last manufacturer to include these on their extinguishers phased them out many years ago, they are still out there to be found occasionally, usually polished stainless steel units.

I’d be looking at a mont 315 but these are going up in value now. Beta rev3 would be next choice. That vertigo pictured above is nice but these suffer from a few problems (gearbox failure, ignition failure) 2 of my friends have ditched theirs & one cant sell it to anyone!!
    They have moved to TRS.

I think he means 6ltr foam or water. CO2 extinguishers come in 2kg or 5kg and don’t have schraeder valves.

I actually went in to my local dealer to buy one, but found myself inbetween sizes at just over 6ft 1″. Neither L or XL size felt comfortable for me and also the component spec was very poor for the money which did help to soften the blow a bit.
Ended up with an Aeris 120, superb bike & specced way beyond the 5010 for same price.
